“I have been blessed to play for 16 years in the NHL; it has been an amazing ride,” St. Louis Thursday. “I would like to thank the Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Rangers organizations and owners for providing me the opportunity to play the sport I love for so many years.
St. Louis won the Art Ross Trophy, Lester B. Pearson Award and Hart Memorial Trophy in 2004 and also won the Stanley Cup with the Tampa Bay Lightning that same year. He is also the winner of an additional Art Ross Trophy and three Lady Byng Memorial Trophies. He was named a Second-Team NHL All-Star on four occasions.

The Laval, Quebec native spent sixteen seasons in the NHL playing for the Calgary Flames, Lightning and the Rangers . He was also played in seven NHL All Star Games.

Marty St. Louis won me my first hockey pool. Drafted him in the 8th round. Everyone was like WTF who is that guy? He had like 30 points in 50 games the year before. He was puny. It was a long shot, dark horse.
2003-04. Goes HAM. Wins the Hart, Art Ross, Pearson, and a Cup.

Who were the 7 players you picked before him? What was the name of the hockey pool? How many people entered? Was it a work pool? What was the grand prize? Why did you decide to draft him? Were there any girls that took part in this hockey pool? Did they lift?
Wow that's a great story that needs to be told... going from washing jocks for a short-lived rollerhockey team to basically running everything behind the scenes of an NHL franchise!
Wow due to his height, John McLean makes the net look small!

Tall goalies do have an advantage. Size can compensate for mistakes, and height allows you to play deeper in the net, but you still need skill to play the game well. I guess this guy is just very mediocre to be that big and not good.
