besides Nedved, 2/3 of the time Canucks drafted 2nd overall they became franchise players.

I don't think they deserve the HoF just based on one scoring title and one MVP each. That's just not enough...or it shouldn't be. If they get in, it'll be because of the uniqueness of a pair of awesome hockey playing creepy ginger twins but their stats wouldn't get them in otherwise unless they win a Cup.
They'll have their numbers retired for sure, as will Luongo in time but HoF? Nah. Lu will have HoF creds by the end of his career though. He'll be top 3-5 in just about every category...except...Stanley Cups  | |

I said it was because they were twins who each won the scoring title. I didn't list a bunch of reasons other than the fact that they're twins. Like it or not, the fact that twin brothers won the Art Ross in back to back seasons will likely be enough IMO.
