From the Buffalo News:

Hamburg police are investigating an incident reportedly involving Patrick Kane, the Chicago Blackhawks star, two sources with knowledge of the probe have told The Buffalo News.

Two sources said Hamburg police officials have forbidden their officers and detectives from publicly discussing the investigation.

“We can neither confirm nor deny the existence or nonexistence of a criminal investigation until such a time as a person is charged with a crime,” said Hamburg Police Chief Gregory G. Wickett.

It’s all extremely vague at the moment, as nobody has gone on the record with any details.

A Blackhawks spokesman did not respond to a request for comment from the Chicago Sun-Times.

Kane, of course, has a history of off-ice incidents, the most serious being an altercation with a Buffalo cab driver in 2009.

Hamburg is a town just south of Buffalo.

Update:

WKBW is reporting that there was an alleged “incident” between Kane and “a woman that began at a bar in Evans.”

Evans is also a town just south of Buffalo.

First, he and his cousin assault a cab driver, and not pay their cab fare back in '09. Now he is under police investigation. :heckno:

While I see this as a simple analysis it still does not really show everything. You can easily argue that burrows is still top 6 without the torts year where he was played on the 3rd and 4th line a lot, and away from the sedins. the simple fact is vrbata is a top 6 player if he plays away from the sedins, while burrows is only one if he plays with them.

sedin makes anyone a top 6 forward...if they cant put up goals with sedins, they should be in the ECHL

thats why nazzy was not resigned lol
