that just makes no sense. he'd be in the ahl or echl as a prospect, if he develops can be added as part of a trade, find a spot on the roster down the road etc. especially considering utica needs an offensive centreman..
fox doesnt have a good chance of sticking with the comets, or being one of the first callups lol

welcome to the JB era...where making no sense, makes sense.
i was trolling about the undersized part and the Tigers Alumni project part in case you haven't noticed. I think he'd be a low risk addition as well based solely on point production. But i guess the scouts know something we don't, hence no contract and no invites. Not everyone can be Tyler Johnson.
Probably right about Fox...lol, the guy wrecked it in Junior as an overager then proceeded to get rekt in the pros. Still, i don't think it's too late. A good training camp/preseason can make all the difference on how his season will play out.

Sadly we had that D man with Luc Bourdon and look at the tragedy that happened. We haven't drafted a player that good and well rounded since we have been hurting so much at forwarded the last 5 years.

If Kesler and Perry can become best friends. I'm sure Lucic and Miller will be ok.
Depending on how much Lucic signs for, if it's a lot of money, i rather see it thrown as Kopitar if he ever ends up an UFA.

Anze is a premium 1st line 2way center. already fetching 7.5 or 7.9M
Has 2 cups
I expect him to cash in at 10M ala Toews/ Kane (who is btw innocent until proven guilty. The girl most likely just trounced on the situation to be a 'victim') or slightly below 10M with and reupping with the Kings. They cant fill his void
And if Vancouver did sign Lucic, he has more value than a declining Miller. We can see where preferential treatment will probably go

I would love to pick up kopitar but you would most likely need the sedins to leave just to afford kopitar...
As for Lucic wouldnt mind him coming to play for the canucks at a reasonable price but knowing JB he will give lucic 7 mill per lol...

hes seen as a long term prospect(was originally seen as a 2nd round talent before off ice problems) much like blomstrand who also put up 30g with kalamazoo.
surprised theres been no news on valk though signed a 1year deal with the comets last year cuz the canucks didnt have contract spots, played well before his injury. now no invite or contract | Is that Garry's son? His daughter is an up and coming tennis player. |

He has no relation to Gary Valk, but he is related (non-blood) to Kelly Hrudey, who is married to his mother's aunt.

Los Angeles will never let Kopitar walk. Lombardi hardballs the shit out of his players but he'll eventually cave and Kopitar will get an 8-year, $84M contract.
Lucic at $7M would be pretty reasonable. He's $6M now ...

Only forwards that we should be targeting/dreaming of would be Stamkos and Kopitar. 2016 NHL Free Agents Tracker | Defenseman
Everyone is saying that we should go after Seabrook, but the one guy I'd love to have would be Byfuglien. He can play F/D, has a wicked shot, and has a huge physical presence.
