last year his game vs the oilers he was all over the puck in the corners and scored 2 goals that game...this year he looks scared to go in the corners and his compete level isnt there..

Habs sign Plekanec to a 2 year contract extension for 12 million. 7 million in the first year, 5 million in the second year. Canadiens sign Plekanec to two-year extension - Article - TSN
The Montreal Canadiens agree to terms on a two-year contract extension with forward Tomas Plekanec on Friday.
The deal is worth an annual average salary of $6 million, with Plekanec earning $7 million in the first year and $5 million in the second. He's earning $5 million in the last year of his current deal.
The contract does not include a no-trade or no-movement clause.
Pacioretty remains a steady performer for the Canadiens, recording 26 goals and 60 points last season. He added one goal and three assists in 12 playoff games.
The soon-to-be 33-year-old is off to a quick start with four goals in two assists in the first five games this season

Baertschi looks decent at times but hasn't done anything. I was hoping he could take the next step after that 4-point game in the preseason.

i say bring back Virtanen, Bo and Baertschi if all else fails
it's worth another look in the season
That was probably the best I've seen Baertschi play in a Canucks uniform
