| Body lift....hmmm
well guys, im kinda bored with my 3/1.5(shackle) leveling kit.
was gonna pick up an OME HD lift kit w/ AAL in the rear and shackle.
but was also thinking of doing a 2" or 3" body lift. any places in the gvrd that do body lifts on a regular or know what the labour price is for install?
Have 33x12.5 now, was gonna step up to a 36 or 37.

i would do more research on the body lift first. I know some kits just sell you the new pucks. When i looked into getting it for my xterra, the kit came with all the relocation brackets. One thing to know about the body lift is that you'll need to extend some hoses, make new brackets, and depending on the vehicle, the steering linkage may need some mods too

Ya. I checked into it. Comes with all relocation brackets and steering extension. No other wiring or hoses require extension for 3" or under. Only thing that's not included in the kit is the gap guards, which I would buy separately
Most places in the US say they can get theirs installed for btwn 500$-800$

Ya I know the downsides. U can start to get squeaks as things loosen up. Should be okay as long as u keep on top of it

oh on big big thing. OME rear springs are known to squeek. Mine squeeks like crazy when its dry out. I mean it squeels over every little bump. You have to constantly jack up the rear, power wash the springs then lube it up while the rear is jacked up.

Don't do the body lift. Do it right and put some suspension under it. Sure body lifts are cheaper but you get nothing out of them except a "look".

I have a 2" BL on my truck with a quality 3" SL - runs smooth and with the gap guards you'd never know the BL was there.

BL would only for fitting larger tires for cheaper. in the tundra circles people praise OME suspension systems.
