of course, we can never do this as the health detriment is significant, but it's an interesting thought.

i certainly don't want someone winning due to an unfair non-natural / non-hard work advantage
what you think steroids are some magical pill that makes you sick at sports without working hard?

okay dude

Yeah that's a misconception people have about steroids. It doesn't mean you don't have to work work hard - it allows you to work harder than you can naturally. It's the opposite of what people think it is.

It's still an unfair advantage of course, but it's not a 'shortcut' or 'not working hard'

eh it's only unfair at the amateur, drug tested level. when there's no millions on the line and you're just playing for fun/competition it is kinda unfair lol

whereas in the NFL, ufc wrestling boxing long distance events and lifting sports etc its not really that unfair as 99% of athletes are on anyways.

doesn't make their achievements any less badass

When comparing taking PEDs vs not taking them, it is literally an unfair advantage...

Dude's an anesthesiologist, they make half a million a year without needing to be married to some high profile writer. He really doesn't care that he looks pinner next to serena williams.

That guy possesses probably 1000 times the confidence and willpower of people who constantly call themselves "alpha" on the internet and make fun of people for their appearance on the internet.

on steroids your output per unit of input is greater, hence the unfair advantage.

Serena is obviously pound 4 pound the greatest female tennis player in today's game but her off court antics gets old. She has had a public feud against fellow WTA player Maria Sharapova.

Feel we should move on to:

He's too busy winning 17 Grand Slam titles for your curls.

And regardless of how built Serena is, she isn't "built like a man".

She'd also get worked by basically any male tennis player. I remember reading an article awhile ago about Venus and Serena years ago thought they were good enough to play on the men's tour so some 150+ ranked dude took their challenge and destroyed both of them...all while smoking in between sets.

why is making fun of someone because of the way they look frowned down upon?

why is making fun of someone because of their mental capacity more okay?

shouldn't it be the other way around? LOL.

i meant it purely from the perspective of a professional athlete...it's not really unfair because almost all professional athletes take them.

That's not how it works...

I agree that most are taking them, but that's not how it works. Compared to people who don't take them, it's an unfair advantage. That's why they take them.
