Prepaid suggestion- only in town for 10 days
 

I'd prefer data/text/call, but if it's just text/call, I can live with it. Where do you guys recommend getting a pre paid sim? (I have an unlocked S3).

7-11? if only emergency... slap on $20 and the card is good for 1year... thats what my uncle did with his Xiaomi M4i

Depends on how much you use.. I have a few friends who visit US and Canada a few times a year from Europe, I tell them to get Koodo because their booster packs you are good until you use them up.. so eg if you buy 1GB data, as long as your account is active, you can use as much or as little as you like.

Best figure out your usage pattern first.
