GL OP.

Yup, that's exactly what I am doing. I am no longer communicating with my adjuster anymore, it's with his manager now and will just keep appealing until they side in my favor or force the other driver to show up to a claim centre for a match up.

I have already sent my story to Linda Steele from CTV and they said they have a contact with ICBC that may be able to help me so they have forwarded it onto their ICBC contact.

I did call the police after I filed my hit and run claim but unfortunately I left the scene and called the police when I got home and they said that since I left the scene there's nothing they can do and that my claim with ICBC will suffice.

I understand what you're saying but I've already spent the past 2 months disputing with ICBC that the damages on my bumper were caused by the van so I'm not quite ready to let this go and let the other party get away when I know they are at fault.

The cost of renting the van is only $20/day so I'll be spending at most $30, a cost I'm willing to pay and who knows if I am able to get the damage matched up then perhaps ICBC will also reimburse me for this cost as well.

Fyi U-Hauls are $19.95 plus taxes Levys and kilometers

It could easily add up to $30+

Hey underscore, here's a photo of the parking lot.

I would have been parked on the second stall beside the CRV with my car backed in. The lot surface seems pretty even.

If that's the lot then I don't see how the damage shown on your bumper could have happened in one shot, since there's scratches at two different angles.

No fuckin way, thats through the paint. You are SO WRONG.

what do I know? I'm only basing this on the picture and the fact the clear coat when scratched turns white. It may not 100% come out but u will barely notice it.
