Seems like many stores don't carry this pad yet! What's worse is that I've seen some stores sell the regular wireless charger as the fast charge version. The pad looks very similar, but even the Samsung store at metro doesn't have stock yet. Buyer beware! I may need a different brand for my room as the glowing led colors may be too bright!

I don't think there will be a different brand. I thought the wireless fast charging tech they use is proprietary to samsung? I'm just using the regular wireless charging pads that I got for free. 2 at work and 2 at home lol.

Hmm, how long do the regular ones take to charge your phone? Shoot, I might need to buy 2 of the fast charging versions from Samsung if that's the case! Some say that fast charging actually hurts the life of the battery, and with the note 4, they actually have options in the menus to turn off the fast charging features. No such option on the note 5... maybe they just want us to kill our non removable battery faster and get the note 6 next year XD

Yup. The faster you charge the more harm it does due to heat and what not. This is my work phone so I'm just going to charge away.. lol

Uag is too big. I'm using the Ringke slim. Also ordered a Spigen one as well.

Which Spigen one did you order?
I ordered the rugged armour case off Amazon. Hope to get it by Thursday since I missed the shipping cut off time yesterday.

On that note, I did order the Samsung quick charging pad for $69 off best buy.
Free shipping and should come in today.

I ordered the rugged armor from spigen too. It looks sick. I used to use very thick cases and screen protectors. Now I'm just like whatever. Looks good, thin, enough!

Yaya they finally have the wireless fast chargers! Going to pick up one to try out at best buy then maybe a second if I like it!

The only thing is that the wireless charger doesn't come with a cable or wall plug so you may need to buy a second cable and wall plug.

I just bought it from Bestbuy today. Did some searching on Amazon and found this:

http://www.amazon.ca/Samsung-Charge-...s+fast+charger

Seems like a much better deal, but I worry that it's fake as some of the sellers previous items were in fact fake. I think I'll stick to the best buy one.

Received the spigen case today. The soft touch coating feels better than the ringke one but it's also a noticeable thicker case. I think I'll switch back.

I didn't think of it at the time, but I wonder if the thicker cases will affect the wireless charging.
I also noticed that my phone won't charge properly on the wireless pad with the pad plugged to the computer's 5V USB port.
The battery actually drains faster than then charger can charge.

I am really tempted in the package Optiblue posted but I don't see it listed on Samsung's website. And only that one seller has it.
Plus it sounds too good to be true.

It clearly states that the pad should be plugged into the original Samsung charger. The USB ports on your computer don't provide enough amperge. I have my regular wireless Samsung charging pads connected to 2a charging. Today I was able to charge the phone on the wireless pad with my spigen slim fit case while I was talking on it via Bluetooth headset as well as tethered to my surface pro3

Yeah, I tried all sorts of wall adaptors including the apple 2A chargers for their pads and none of them trigger the Fast charge mode of the wireless charger. You have to use the adaptive fast charger the phone came with, but any good quality usb cable will do. I think their new charger probably has a chip that talks to the phone to let it know it's okay to go into fast mode both for wireless and cable. It's a little slower than wired fast charging and when in fast mode, the pad makes a slight humming noise. If you use a regular charger, the noise is less and almost unnoticeable. Something to be considered if it's going to be beside your bed when sleeping. Was going to buy 2 pads, but I'll just slow cable charge when in my room and wireless fast charging at my desk.

Yeah, don't buy that package, it is too good to be true. I'm sure Samsung will release official packages later on! It's all overpriced for now.

I ordered 2 of the wireless chargers from bestbuy. They offered 15% discount off any 2 or 20% off any 3 mobile accessories.

Always enroll more than one fingerprint and don't forget your backup password. I've got some misses but it always ends up working in the end.
