II just got my wireless fast charger pads today. One for work and one for home. They also have built in fans to keep things cool. My 6 port quick charge 2 compatible charging hub works fine. It triggers both wired and wireless quick charge. Your Apple or any other 2a charger won't do it. You specifically need a Qualcomm quick charge 2 compatible charger. The output voltage are different from a standard charger.

Finally upgraded from Note 3 to Note 5.. why waited all this time? Because Titanium silver 64GB is available!

Harsh, just got mine not long ago. Wonder if they do price protection for boxing day deals.

Depends on how long ago it was.
I know BB has some sort of price protection policy.

inv4zn 12-23-2015 08:03 AM

^They won't match boxing day deals because you can't return things during boxing day/week.

You can, however, buy another one on boxing day and return the one you previously bought (as long as it's still eligible within the timeframe they give you)

winson604 12-23-2015 04:49 PM

Yea damn it was almost 30 days ago and pretty sure this product has a 14 day refund policy.

Makes sense that price protection wouldn't apply otherwise people would just buy everything own and price adjustment it after.

Has anyone had issues with charging to wall or computer? I got the phone in Sept and it won't charge sometimes.
I checked the cable and it works fine with other devices. Some is wrong with the usb
port inside.
I took it to my rogers carrier and they shipped it off for repairs in early Dec.
Still waiting on it to be fixed.

What cases are you Note 5 users using?

Also, anyone using 3rd party charging stations?

Amazon.com: Galaxy Note 5 Case, Caseology® [Envoy Series] Premium Leather Bumper Cover [Carbon Fiber Black] [Leather Bound] for Samsung Galaxy Note 5 - Carbon Fiber Black: Cell Phones & Accessories

Using this case. Bought that and a Ringke Slim but like this better due to a little more protection. The tpu is high quality and not sticky so easy to get in and out of your pocket.

As for chargers I also ordered these

All quick chargers and have been nothing but amazing. The wireless pad is just that and requires you buy the wall charger to use with it (or use the one that came with the phone).

Case: Verus High Pro Shield. Fits SUPER snug and looks and feels great. Buttons are recessed, so they're harder to press by accident when you hand the phone to someone to show a picture.

I also bought the factory Samsung Fast Wireless Charger on Boxing Day. Doesn't cooperate with the case. Super bummer because it would be handy; have to remove the case to work, therefore not convenient.

Bought that Aukey car charger above, works fantastic.

I don't know how I could ever own another phone that doesn't have quick charging. It's just wonderful.

You may want to try again, I also rock the Note 5 + VERRUS HP Shield + Samsung Wireless Fast Charger and charge with the case on with no issues at all. Once in a while I need to move it just slightly to get to the sweet spot but it's been 3 months with zero issues overall.
