This LW huracan looks kinda cool, but then you get to where those fenders meet the rear tails and Jesus that's terrible..CiC could blend a better kit lol

What's with all the "exposed" bolts look, why doesn't anyone like molding the kits to the body for a cleaner look?

Similar to Veilside in the late 90s and early 2000s. I am slowly learning about the RWB scene and I am very intrigued about the owners. You have rural farmers to IT millionaires that buy 100% in the RWB cult. I am seriously contemplating getting a RWB 964 or 993 and understand most Porsche guys will hate it and look down on it.....and you know what? I could care less what most people think. I do it for myself and circle of car friends who can appreciate differing POVs. I am not really a muscle car guy, but I have huge respect for that car community.
Are you telling me this RWB Porsche is ugly? haha!

Looks amazing, way better than all those riveted FRP fenders that's really getting old now. No Cutting Corners: The Weld FR-S - Speedhunters
People prefer the riveted FRP overfenders because it's way cheaper than custom molding pieces of steel with the bodywork.

The end result is the fact that I am basically left with shipping the car to a shop out in California to get the type of work I expect.
EDIT: With that said, if someone feels they know someone within BC who is capable and has previously done custom metal widebody work, or hand beating/welding panels, let me know. I'd love to still check them out.

Anyone know what an average LW kit costs? Say GTR for example? Not that i would ever ruin my car with one.

I however have literally no interest in that. I am talking about the work you see in the link of the Weld FRS that Akinari posted above. I'm looking to get a proper metal widebody kit hand shaped and custom fitted to the car. I am NOT looking to destroy my car by hacking it up and hanging a bunch of FRP and plastic all over it. Fuck that noise.
I need a shop that is experience and in metal shaping, and beating panels, and one with a pretty solid vision. The only shop I have spoken to that I actually have walked away from with some semblance of trust is AutoExplosion in California. They have built two completely one off Widebody FX's previously, a long with numerous other projects which relate. Unless I can find a shop locally which can present a repertoire even remotely similar, I'm pretty sure my car is headed down to California fairly soon.

I do alot of metal shaping and restoration as well and will be doing an all steel widebody on my 850i to fit 20x11 wheels without stupid camber and crazy stretched tires.

Let me know.
There are a couple people I know, who's skill would certainly allow them to tackle the project, the problem is, they are either no longer up for it (aka focusing on own projects or other work), or else they don't do my type of car, they are focused on older high dollar cars.
Unfortunately my project doesn't compete with the restorations of old muscle cars, and the likes. That's where their bread and butter lies, so my project would just take up space and time with no real pay back.
The one person who was interested in tackling the project is booked for like 2 years, so all he could tell me was to drop the car off, and he could work on it when he had a spare couple days, which meant that there is every chance my car might sit inside his shop for like the next 3 years, which is not what I want.
