Surrey jacks are pleased with this post.

Your chances of being murdered in Whaley have been reduced significantly, down to only 99.998%.

Spoiler!

That's a Timpost right there.

People say stanced cars are the next big fad, that will pass just like the body kits and rice from the early 2000's.

I think that's bullshit, stanced cars are pretty much here to stay, the next fad that is going to go away will be these massive overfendered cars.

I get it, it's hip, and trendy. But from a logical and purely unbiased perspective, it looks fucking retarded, most of these kits absolutely do not flow with the lines of the car at all.

ae101 08-31-2015 09:17 PM

over fenders are cool.....................but not all cars should have over fenders period

Hipster talk: over fenders are cool way back when no one was really doing...........but once it gots popular it starts to look lame & stupid

StylinRed 08-31-2015 10:16 PM

i think the black one looks nice, as you cant really makeout the 'bolted' on part and you just see the lines

as with all things some will hate it some will like it

Gucci Mane 08-31-2015 11:20 PM

thats the kind of car those kits belong on, not classy $300k ferrari's.

flagella 09-01-2015 05:08 AM

How anyone thinks these front fenders on the red line flow with the car is beyond me.

The stance scene has definitely dwindled in the past 3 years.
Hardparking is the biggest thing now. Cages, fixed back seats and lightweight wheels with R888s on a car that never hits the track.
I don't care though, I like looking at both.

AzNightmare 09-01-2015 09:34 AM

While all these fads can be stupid in their own way, stance is one that will actually affect your ability to drive practically, unless you like scrapping everywhere.

neat photographs

ilovebacon 09-01-2015 10:17 AM

i think its pretty nice, all you guys probably have nicer cars than this lol

Bingo!! Huge in the Honda scene. Completely gutted(but then painted) interiors, weld-in cages with gussets, fixed buckets/harnesses, but then shaved bay, stancey/steezy wheels with some camber.

Kind of a mish mash but I get it. Cars need to cover the whole spectrum to win at shows. Gutted interiors allow builders to showcase paint skill.

I can dig it though. Quality is quality despite the intended usage.

on topic: Liberty Walk is boring now.

Liberty walk has never improved on a cars original look

Same goes for the RWB Porsches

jpark 09-01-2015 12:06 PM

Not gonna lie, that looks pretty cool on a g37. Very different

white rocket 09-01-2015 02:00 PM

I feel like I know what an LB kit is going to look like on pretty much every car. Somebody with some PS skills could do a render on anything.

So for that, it's kinda meh.

That's what people said about the body kits and rice from the early 2000's...

"Stance" is the first one of these stupid fads that can actually impact safety. As hideous and tacky as riveting garbage onto a GT or super car is at least it's only a hazard to my eyes and stomach and not other road users as well.
