So my gf's iphone 6s plus is acting up all of a sudden.

Her battery percentage would get stuck/would not charge, she would charge the phone to 100% and it would go down to either 92% or 87% then after her work she would look at the phone and the battery jumps down to 18%, then when she charges it would be stuck at 18%. She has to restart her phone in order to fix it. There was a couple instances when her phone wouldnt even charge, it would say 80ish % but it would die a few hours after.

Keep in mind she charges it, goes to work, doesnt use it till she is off, so its just on standby.

Another issue is all her texts and calls are showing 2016 Feb or Nov! Region is Vancouver, time is auto location is auto using data.

This all started happening a week and half ago, up until then, everything was working completely fine!

Btw the antenna sucks, if she is laying on her back while talking on the phone, the other person says she sounds like she is really far from the phone, but standing up or laying on her side she sounds normal!

^^ have apple take a look at the phone. A friend mine had the same issue. Apple replace her phone on the spot.

Getting a 64GB iPhone 6S+ in gold on Thursday. Silver colour is backordered through the dealership that I'm signing up with and I'm taking advantage of a promotion.

I got an iPhone 6S PLUS and totally love it! I had the 4s, 5, 5s and 6 before. I was forever skeptical if I could stand such a big phone, but after having it for several months I totally love it! If you get it in the black/silver version it has the illusion of not looking that big at all. And watching movies and youtube videos on it is killer, as it has a true 1080p screen! Its almost like having the best mini-tablet in your hands that can do everything, including phones calls and all! I would never go back to another smaller phone. Whenever my friends show me a picture or video on their iphone 6 or worse 5 or 4, it looks super small and gives me a headache lol. The iPhone 6S plus is the perfect size IMO. I know some people might say its a bit on the heavier side, but i like that, because I can always feel it in my pocket and where it is. Some phones are way too light and break easily and you don't know if you dropped it already or someone stole it, because you can never feel it inside your pockets.

Does anyone know if I can buy an Iphone 6 or 6s from Telus, unlock it and use it on Rogers/Fido?

On a flip side, could a Rogers LG g3 work on telus? I assume I'll need to get it unlocked.

yes you can the only thing is you need to use the device on your telus account for 90 days before you can unlock it to be used on rogers/fido

I believe its 50 from telus this way is to insure your device is "factory unlocked" and not some imei trick

You can get the LG G3 unlocked for like $5 via Unlockbox - I used it twice and both times the codes came within a day.

As for the iPhone, to get it unlocked through a third party is about 2-3 days and about $70. Better to just get a Rogers one if you can to begin with.

My plan is to get the phone on telus and use my existing Roger's G3. My GF wants the iPhone so since I'm up for renewal and telus has some aggressive plans. We're both currently on Rogers.

So my option is to not renew and pay the $899+ for the phone, ORRR just renew and maybe pay a few hundred.

Sounds like I'll just have to buy the phone :/

Talk to retentions and see if Rogers will match the Telus plan. Make sure you call just after 8pm. That seemed to work for me.

question about the screen protector, how come most of the ones I am seeing doesn't go all the way to the edge and leaves an ugly uncovered parts around the edges?

Also...just notice 6s is actually tiny bit thicker than 6. Are thin cases made for 6 going to fit a 6s?

^^ is coz of the curve design. I hated that. What's worse is even with temperted glass it won't cover the whole screen...... One of the reason I opt not to get the iphone6 or 6s. To me I still think the design of the iphone 5s are the best iphone design so far.

Spigen makes a curved screen protector. Used it on my iPhone6. It's alright but the curved edges don't adhere very well to the curved surface and end up just collecting dust. Not sure if I just didn't install it correctly but if you want to give it a go, this is it:

so i notice that Apple Pay is finally available. Tried all of my credit cards.. none of them is supported. Has anybody found credit card that is supported by apple pay yet?

i think amex is the only one that works with apple pay in canada.

So I'm on iOS 9.1 and my internet is slower to load pages, anyone else have this problem?
