Lot's of new features overall. Really like the Apple TV I might get one. But the Ipad Pro got my head stracthing and the price is just too high. Also iPencil for $99?

Edit cloud storage price have been cut in half too so that's also a good deal.

i needed an upgrade from my iphone5. im not impressed enough to drop 1200 on it.

+1 for the upgrade program to come here, but you know rogers/telus/bell would just fuck it up.

Other than that, typically I never upgrade to the S models. My cycles always end on the next gen phones ie. 5/6/7 so I prefer to get the new body style as opposed to the "upgrade"

Also from what I quickly read of the Apple TV, basically sounds like the same shit but with Siri? I thought it was going to be some all new thing?

it looked smoother than 24fps, I'm hoping its 30-48.

Apple TV FTW! No more clicking clicking, universal search (siri) and new interface makes watching NETFLIX/Youtube/etc a better experience. The new remote with the touch screen and dedicated siri button is a welcome upgrade.

Iphone, meh.

I abandoned using appleTV as my Netflix provider when I bought my XBR, the TV's interface I found to be much nicer than appleTV's anyways

I'll wait and see if it justifies the upgrade once it's been out for a while

I'm on the same Iphone cycle, S models are internal upgrades software and hardware but no new body.

Apple TV new interface and apps can download games etc plus new remote. I chucked my old apple tv remote and have been using my iphone on airplay as my "remote" but it drains my battery unnecessarily.

Same situation as you..currently have a iPhone 5 but the 6+/6S+ models haven't really enticed me to drop $1200 for it

buy the 6 at a discount when the + comes out

I'm really surprised at the lack of hype for this year's event. There's normally a lot of speculation threads on many forums several weeks prior to an Apple announcement. I didn't even know there was an event until the day before.

^the hype will be with the iphone7 since it will have a new look but upgraded iphon6+ internals...

The main feature of the new Apple TV that is gloss over by many people the the addition of the App Store for the TV. This could potentially be disruptive to gaming industry as a whole. We shall see
