If anyone is looking for a very slim fit case for the 6P, Bell stores have the official Huawei OEM cases. They're pricey ($25) but that's expected for anything OEM.

Design-wise, it's almost the same as the Spigen Thin-Fit case except they're clear frosted instead of black and it covers to the top-edge a bit more than the Spigen one.

Overall it's about perfect for a very minimal case, but it's likely worth no more than $5 if there is something similar online.

Yeah the bottom edge is quite sharp but i find that's always the case with these kind of cases.

I have some 5x case coming. 7 in total and temperted glass coming. Since I return the phone already going to give them out once they arrive (not worth the trouble to return it.)

^ how well does it work with the fast charging?

Does anyone think there will be any black friday/cyber monday deals with this phone / accessories from google play store?

Nexus 6P is on sale at Wind for $649 for the 32GB graphite model. Depending on who you speak to they might sell it to you outright.

I'll take a clear case if you have em still :alonehappy:

The cable works well i guess, haven't really tested the fast charge as I charge it overnight.

Expresso 11-28-2015 04:56 PM

Usually itll say charging or charging rapidly on your lockscreen

djstyles 11-28-2015 06:06 PM

I've read that it says "charging rapidly"on any charge over 2A. Both my OEM charger and my Tronsmart car charger both say it bit the car charger is rated @2.4A max.

Been having random reboots out of the blue again with the 6p. Contacted google support and they are sending me a new one. The rep was super easy to deal with as well.

My fingers crossed on this new one...

Mesh cables arrived from eBay. They look the same and have nice packaging. Too bad they fail the Chekr test. Gave up and saw that Google has cables in stock for $16.99. Ordered 3. Don't think any of the cables that Benson reviewed were cheaper than this.

wonder how those xiaomi adaptors micro to c are
someone on xda picked one up

Tim Budong 12-07-2015 09:21 AM

I bought the Rankie type c to type c male cable and have confirmed with Ampere and Current Monitor that it is capable of the same charging speeds as the OEM Google type c to type c cable that comes with the phone.

Just got the 6.0.1 update for the phone. Seems about the same but with many more Emoji's. The update for Google Camera I thought was pretty good, the HDR shots process much faster than before and the app is just speedier in general.

Tim Budong 12-09-2015 05:50 PM

6.0.1 fixed the washed out blacks
from others, it improved the ambient display (i never use it)

biggest thing for me would be that my xiaomi piston3s vol control works again.

Looks like these $3 cables from aliexpress pass the checkR app tests

Quick question regarding the 5X -- is the 16GB model enough for general use?

I'm considering a switch to Wind, and while they carry the 5X, it seems to be only available as the 16GB model (instead of the 32GB model which I would have preferred). I don't game on the phone, but I do use a variety of apps for practical situations, so I suspect I will need some space.

Need 32gb for sure. There is no SD card slot. If you store you music and pics you will ran out of space pretty quick with 16GB - MY

djstyles 12-16-2015 01:47 PM

I would say definitely get the 32gb

The type c to type c are generally ok. It's the older USB connector that has the need for higher requirements.

!MiKrofT 12-16-2015 09:38 PM

Just bought 5 to try :)

mciroc 12-20-2015 09:29 AM

Any thoughts of if the 6p if its better than one plus 2?
