Talah? No idea where the hell you guys pulled that name out of.

His name's Talha I think..
I'm also not sure of Fasttrack. I know they have good revscene reviews (so did VIP in the beginning I'm assuming?), and I've heard mixed reviews. I've had friends have an awesome outcome from Fasttrack, I also have a few friends who has had shit outcomes and swear they would never go back. Seeing a few things myself, it seems like they are very hit or miss. But then again, you're most likely going to hear mixed reviews from most of the bodyshops around here.

He could say how his name was being spelled wrong like a normal person instead of implying we were calling him some random left field name like fucking Matt or something.

Talah? No idea where the hell you guys pulled that name out of. | STILL pulling this BS means that he is not being up front with everything that he's doing. Transparency is key here and he is doing the opposite of that. You'd think that he would have done a 180 after being called out hard in here but that doesn't seem to be the case. Weeks of excuses with the part but Cman gets one within 24hours right from the dealer? How is that transparent?
After hearing about all the driving he's done with customers cars I'm now looking back on the fact that my Evo was "stored" at his "lot" in Richmond and him texting me saying how much "grip" the car had. At first I brushed it off but now I'm thinking that my car was bagged on a bit. The workmanship was on point hence my referral to Cman, and now all this? Fuck me. I'm just extremely disappointted.
Talah. Talha. what the fuck ever. It's not like I'm calling him Bill or Frank.

How do they call the shop VIP? Its not the customers that are "Very Important". That seems to be sure as fuck.

I feel like chiming in to share some advice with everyone about getting body work done.
They key to improving your odds of being a satisfied customer of a body shop is to CLEARLY EXPLAIN YOUR EXPECTATIONS IN ADVANCE!!!!! Let them know you will pick the car apart for panel gaps, alignment, paint texture, color match (bit tricky sometimes), overspray, you want all mouldings removed, bumper sprayed off the car, etc!
Immediately after be sure to tell them you are comfortable paying more to make sure it is done to your expectations.
The reality of body shop work is pretty simply, they don't treat a Cobalt like a Carrera. If you want carrera quality body work on your 350Z etc be sure to explain it to them.
If every piece of work coming in and out of the body shop had to meet OEM standards it would cost a lot more money to get body work done. Virtually all shops can produce some great work, as a consumer what you need to realize is that you get what you pay for (most of the time anyway, some shops just suck).
I'm super picky but have had many good experiences with body work and full re-sprays, if they know you won't be happy with less than perfect they will charge you more but give you what you want.

Expectation #1
My car does not become your car when I drop it off for bodywork.
I see what your saying, but these aren't examples of things you should lay on the table in this thread.

So paying more doesn't mean your always getting a product. Communicating with the shop of what your expectations are is a must.
