even with the old 2.4, she was a quick car. Light. barely over 1000kg.

only sketchy thing are the brakes. Makes you feel so alive driving one of these cars. much danger.

Your 25-Year-Old Mazda Might Be Recalled for Fiery Death Risk

Quote:

Apparently, the cars affected have ignition switches that could overheat and catch fire, which tends to be something you don't want to have happen in your car. Mazda claims the problem was cause by the use of too much grease on the electrical contact switches during manufacturing. Over time, that can lead to the possibility of an electrical fire.

No crashes or injuries have been reported, and Mazda claims the problem doesn't affect the operation of the vehicle, but if you drive a 1990-to-1996 Mazda 323 and Protege, a 1993-to-1998 Mazda 626, a 1993-to-1995 Mazda 929, a 1993-to-1997 Mazda MX-6, a 1989-to-1998 Mazda MPV or a 1992-to-1993 Mazda MX-3, you should be on the look out for a recall notice in your mailbox.

In the mail, so the 3 people who are original owners and haven't moved will get it, and everyone else is on their own.

91 G60 - bought from the stereotypical old woman OG owner. I bought it back several years and owners later, but it always looked best bone-stock like this.

Pic circa 1999

I miss looking at my old corrado, but sure as fuck don't miss owning it. This was around 2006?

Loved everything about this thing - except the terrible build quality. Super early production R56 is no bueno. Gave up after a year, but I've been thinking about getting back into a mini as a daily.

Very first car, and Prelude. 1988 2.0S. Lowered on H&R Race springs....and that's about it :P

http://www.usedcarsgroup.com/1982-bm...98087163-2.jpg
82 320i Turbo. First car to mod. Saab fuel injection, way to big of a turbo, no IC, 79 pistons and crank to make it a true 2.0. Blew so many head gaskets :P Learnt to work on cars with this one.

http://media.liveauctiongroup.net/i/...D03F4D56FB2050
1986 300E, got it for $800 with 46xxxkms on it. Owner thought it had a blow headgasket, turned out to be a $2 o-ring in the transmission. Got rearended by a drunk driver. ICBC paid $9500 for the car.

1987 Turbo II. Did not do to much to this other than new engine, and fixed up anything that was broken. Miss this car. Was such a nice car to drive.

82 300 turbo diesel, great road trip car

2000 C220, ended up kitting it out in C43 stuff and lowered on stock AMG wheels. Nice car, but very slow.

Stock 9-3 Aero, nice to drive but never again.

Decided to take up late night bean curd delivery services....this one was fun. Way to much time and money dumped into that car.

1998 Honda Prelude Base - Lowered on HR Sport springs, some rims and an intake. Nothing special.

1997 Honda Prelude Base - Greddy Turbo kit and WAY to much money put into the motor. Sold 8 months ago for FAR to little.

IT runs great! I actually kept the R200 and swapped a 5 speed into it. Its pretty quick for what it is. After speaking with the person that built the engine and butt dyno were guessing it has somewhere between 180 - 200hp. Handling is actually quite good but I did buy pretty much the whole techno toy tuning catalog for this car and throw it in. I'll try to write a proper right up on it sometime. U should definitely get one if you get the chance. Hands down the most pure fun for a car i ever owned, and I had a miata before.

Some of my old cars. Had an 05 Mazda 3 GT hatch. Agree it was super reliable and fun! First car was a 90 Acura Integra with way too much money into it. Can't even find pics because before decent cameras in phones and only have hard copy photos! #oldguy.

92 Lexus SC400 I think it ended up in Vancouver. Sold with 18" 350Z touring wheels.

VIP phase. 92 Mazda 929

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...0/DSCF0375.jpg

00 Acura 3.5 RL 19" Weds Kranze Rapier dinner plates. Anceltion coilovers. I miss this car! Not a very luxurious interior but would buy one again. Only headaches were 3 trips to the dealer with SRS issues covered under warranty.

02 Infiniti Q45 20" Maya DX2 etc. Comfy car. Huge depreciation.

91 240SX coupe SR20 5 lug etc. Ended up in Van or Kelowna.
