Best high performance all season?

Hey guys, I'm helping my parents find some high performance all seasons for their 2006 G35 but sine I personally don't use them I know zip. They live in Coquitlam and the car won't be leaving the GVRD in the winter or leaving their place the couple of days a year it might snow down there, so snow performance isn't much of a concern. They just want to be able to drive it locally most of the year and use it on trips in the summer without having to change tires with the seasons since they don't drive it very much.

TIA

DWS, the new version just came out as well.

BUT....what part of Coquitlam do they live in? Some parts turn into a nightmare when it does snow and some winters it's not just a couple days. Would they be better off with a set of all-weathers like Nokian WRG3s?

I have the gmax right now, and they're quite chirpy when taken to the limits, and could have better wet grip.

I would've gone for the Pilot Sport A/S 3 if they were out at the time, I think they're better overall.

Near Coquitlam Centre I think, they have another vehicle as well that they'll share on snowy days or to leave the GVRD in the winter.

I put these on the wifes car last year. They're awesome. Nice and quiet, monsters in the rain, and still very good in dry conditions when pushed. They replaced DWS that we had on there previous, and they're just as good, if not better.

My cousin manages an OK Tire shop and he got me drinking the Continental Kool Aid. I had DWS originally and they were good tires but wore quickly. This time I tried their PureContact tires and these things have been awesome for driving around here.

I rip the S2S everyday, a little faster than the posted limits to say the least, in all conditions. The PureContacts stick like glue and have thoroughly impressed me. Also, I would only get two seasons out of my DWS tires (I drive 50k per year) but I am going to easily get 3 seasons out of the PureContacts. I definitely recommend them.

edit - I should note that I do swap these tires out for snowies from October-March

I've been running Continental DWS on my car, drive more aggressive then most for a daily, and I can say, they wear QUICK.

Otherwise no complaints, grips well in wet and dry. Could be a bit better in wet.

I personally use Pilot Sport A/S 3.

Looks like the DWS might have a slight advantage in the snow though.

How quick you guys talkin?

My 07 Focus has had them for almost 40k and I can stil fully see the DWS on the tread (indicating they are ready for their third winter).

For price alone next time I'm going with General RT43's

All suggestions in this thread are good (then there's Timpo). I think the only deciding factor will be price / budget. Is money no object? Looking for bang for buck?

I'm looking at the GMAX tires as well based on pricing

I've used Continental DWS for my last two cars. I think they handle quite well for the price, treadwear is acceptable also. I considered the GMAX's also for the old car but decided against it when I combed tire reviews and saw a few sidewall blowouts on multiple sites. So for the little bit of money saved it wasn't worth the hassle to me since they were somewhat low profile tires.

DWS for sure. They are good tires which perform well in the rain or snow. However, the sidewall is kinda soft.
