I discussed a car in depth with Tofu and, though we didn't go though with a deal, he was nothing short of great to deal with. I'd definitely recommend going directly to him for your BMW purchase.

lets just rename this thread to "OP JUST BUY A BMW FROM TOFU AS HE WILL GIVE U A DEAL" :lawl:

His names Kristoffer Ong

I had a similar piss-poor experience with this guy. I was ready to place a deposit and due to his poor attitude I retracted my offer and walked. He had the dignity to even mock me for not purchasing as I walked away...

Highly would not recommend anyone to deal with him...

^ I never understand how cars salesman develop these cocky attitudes for no apparent reason. Just cause he sells "premium" cars he believes he is better than most people? Too funny. I had a a very similar experience with the Autowest pre owned manager......can't remember his name, but what a douche......I will probably see Tofu when I trade my M3 in.......

This would be one of times I would request to speak with the Sales Manager for their conduct. If the management team seems to mimic their negative representation of the brand, then the dealer network such as BMW Canada in this case would be my contact.

Does anyone have any good experiences with The BMW Store? I was considering getting a car from there but I don't hear too many outside opinions of them.

Galactic_Phantom 10-19-2015 11:30 AM

^Exactly, I don't understand how people let customer service employees get away with this shit. Even though I don't agree with 'the customer is always right' theory, you bet your damn ass I will make a scene and try my best to get your ass fired if you treat me like shit. That Kristofer Ong should go back to working at a minimum wage job to relearn how to treat potential customers right

tofu1413 10-19-2015 12:55 PM

speaking of which............

I just gotten a six speed manual M3 coupe........ in grey...........

on trade.....................

BMW Store is good. We bought our X5 from there about 2 years ago, from a salesman named Peter (I think his last name was Pan? Or Pang or something). Very friendly throughout the whole process, was willing to negotiate, and gave us a very reasonable discount.
Their service department is also very good, the only reason I stopped going to BMW Store is because Brian Jessel is more convenient location-wise.

Unfortunate to hear from your experiences.

I do admit there is a sense of arrogance when it comes to working premium brands.

But tbh, how I treat my customers is how I want to be treated when I buy a car.

Car buying is not rocket science. Just the right deal, and we're not talking about just the numbers, but the whole experience overall; the complete works along with the car (the dealer, the service, the backing, the peace of mind) that is true value in the car buying experience.

thumper 10-19-2015 04:15 PM

I was out at BJ drooling over ur M3 today tofu, fuck it looks good in DY, and then the orange one in the showroom. Really makes me want to move to the BMW family

I also dealt with said salesman at Langley when looking at a used S4...after test driving and discussing numbers I needed a day to think, says, "are you going to buy it or not!?", me and brother got up and no longer wanted to deal with him and left. Not worth our time dealing with guys like that. There's always another car out there...

BEEB 10-19-2015 08:01 PM

Went into BJ pre owned yesterday checking out the G wagon, gosh, they were busy. 3-4 salesperson closing the deal. No one on the floor to help. Went to BJ BMW and they were so slow with 3-4 sales guy greeting you thru out!
