"I recently got the one I won a few weeks ago (29k 2000 Black) – and while most people think I overpaid, what only I can value is how much I was willing put into having my own time machine sitting in my garage.
Sitting in the car, touching the panels and shifter, smelling some of the original car smell, really take me back to my early 20’s – and that’s worth the premium you pay for these. The value of these cars is much more than the physical performance they have as automobiles.
I can remember sitting in my Integra wondering if 120 seconds of Autocrossing was worth the whole day sitting and waiting at an event. Or driving out to a track day hoping I was able to make it back home and to work the next day in the very same car..
All those days of cruising around campus and justifying ditching class since there was no premo-parking available, or setting off car alarms by punching the gas in low gear in a parking lot. Or picking up on all the hotties once they saw me drive by… Actually, I don’t think that one ever actually happened."
more money than brains
trying to put a price tag on the non-leather off-gassing?
probably has an ITR floor mat framed as a centerpiece in his home
I only have two plain black Acura keys Does anyone else have the key in video?

Here are my 2001 CDM keys. The grey ones look more special.

Yes. One chrome and two grey. They are for the pre-immobilizer cars (97-99). They can still be bought through Acura but a price hike put them up to like $60 per USD if not more. I picked them up a few years ago for $25 each. Even the center console is stupid expensive now.

Thought about it for 5-10 minutes, there are a number of issues:
1 - It's not yellow
2 - I can't live with another b-series powered Honda, would prefer to buy something that isn't all original and low KM
3 - Rumor has it that the car is from out East and may have accident history
4 - Searching sellers phone number revealed some negative feedback from DSM forums
Beyond all that, the sales tactic of "It's up for one week or I'll keep it" tells me the seller is looking for an emotional "panic" buyer that will disregard due-diligence in favor of ensuring the car does not slip away.

What bugs me about these sellers asking so much money is they don't give any details about accidents/thefts, vin tags, recent records, the list goes on. You ask a premium prove why or i always assume your trying to hide something.
That 01 with the picture of the front cover that mark on the side isnt a scuff its proof of a poor paint job on the cover
No picture of engine bay so you can't see the missing VIN on the fender
No mention of accidents or theft
No mention or close up of badge number
High pressure sales tactic
All of this is on purpose.

In this case I am speculating that the owner did not reveal the badge number because they are purposefully trying to hide the history.
Saying this the owner will probably chime in with the badge #

With what there selling for these days I’m thinking more and more of unloading my R for a CTR. Fits my lifestyle more with a family. It’s the fear of massive sellers remorse that’s stopping me. The ITR is special in a way the CTR will never be but the CTR is so much more car then the ITR will ever be. Any Type R fathers wanna chime in?
