Any FK8 owners driving stock cars had any issues with the VPD in terms of Cain et al.?

Asking because I am planning on moving back to East Van from Mississauga in the late summer/early fall and I'm feeling rather sketched out. Since my FK8 will be an "out of province import" I will need to have her VI'd anyway and I'm hoping the sticker on the windshield will help. But ultimately I just don't want the hassle of dealing with the pettiness (at least from what I am reading in the VI thread) of the law.

Basically I'm wondering if I should invest in a cheap beater or not.

I highly doubt it. The CTR from factory isn’t low, it isn’t loud etc. The only stock cars being pulled over for VI’s are things like M cars with the option exhausts, Maserati, gt350’s running in “track mode” on the street etc. No reason a stock CTR should be pulled over or ticketed unless you deserved it

Seems like they are leaving CTR alone.

I wish it was that easy. I have family in various areas of government and it’s a HUGE no no to use your job to try and get out of tickets. Best thing you could do is keep your government ID next to your drivers license so when you open your wallet, you just hope they see that you’re one of them lol

i guess not blatantly request to have the ticket not written up/cancelled

but more like 'hey i'm an officer from out of province, could you please educate me on the differences in the vehicle act from what i'm used to enforcing/am knowledgeable about

i feel they would show some leniency, officer or not

re shaped roof wing is a possibility and aero tweaks on bumper.

Made and installed some mudflaps.

If any CTR owners on here want my template, let me know.
Also, I have 3 extra rally armor universal mudflaps. I used one to make both fronts. Will sell for $10 each (basically cost)

I hope the Mégane RS Trophy R will have the crown back, i love the 4 wheel steering on the Laguna.

The M2RS and M3RS were way better than the euro spec Type R. I drove all of them and the Type R is meh to be honest compare to the other one.

What is your best lap time on the Nurburgring ? Mine is around 9 20 on a stock M3RS Monaco GP.
