Has anyone bought a CTR lately? I am wondering if dealerships are willing to negotiate below MSRP or are they still firm on it?
Didn't buy one, but I've been monitoring local inventory and civicx forums. A few stores have them in stock, though they just arrived and I don't think stores are ready to go under MSRP unless they're hurting. The Swindon plant is still closed and it doesn't sound like they'll build the units allocated for production in the shutdown months, so the supply for 2020s will be more limited than usual.

I never thought VTEC was that big of a deal, and then I picked up a 93 Prelude SR-V in the fall and coming onto a highway entrance ramp with it matted to redline in second gear, when VTEC changeover happens that sound is so intoxicating, into 3rd and a quick enough shift you don't drop out of it... not even like a crazy fast car or anything, but I'll be damned if I didn't feel like it was

My wifes 97 Prelude with the H22 + cold air intake + VTEC = heaven

I just put a k20 into a Civic, picked it up on Monday and it rips like crazy when it hits VTEC too, but agree with poster above the sound is not there like it is with the B series or H series or even the F20... not sure why
the EM1 are already becoming quite scarce and will be like the CRX in 10 years but won't be BATbait where people are expecting 30k+ for clean examples...you have to remember they're 'just' Si for the USDM so frankly even the rarest of Civics in history haven't hit ridiculous prices
GS-R being the 2nd rung in trim level I think most people except the die-hards have simply forgotten about them
I think Del Sol has joined the Insight and Beat as those quirky cars that'll never really become golden
if anything I can see the Preludes making a comeback in value
^ me too I have to fit it somehow just temp... but you have to make a choice RSX redline and engine mileage or civic dash and converting everything which didn’t work with the 05-06 K20 etc etc theres no really good answer. I’m going to try and mould something up.
