I was talking about the H-T peeps in the original thread.

The ITR deck is retarded. They go for $100 with code all day. If those have now experienced TypeRtax then that's just comical.

The Recaro's are the Speed model based on the pics.

slicrick 01-05-2016 04:08 PM

My car (not a Type-R) came with a ITR key, and has an Amber lit deck, I will sell both for a bargain price of 400... :troll:

A Type-R key is probably as close as I will be to owning a Type-R for a while. FeelsBadMan :okay:

When the DC5 ITR's start landing here do you think it will have any impact on DC2 ITR prices?

Don't think so. I don't think the RHD DC2 ITR hurt the LHD market much. Maybe it slowed it a bit at first if anything.

slicrick 01-05-2016 04:26 PM

I'm excited to see a DC5 ITR in person, dat blue interior hnnnnnnnng :drool

I would say no. The car is a totally different animal.

The dc2R is the true cornering animal. But I sure miss the k20R set up :okay:

white rocket 01-07-2016 11:19 AM

The DC5R is a totally different car. Most would consider it a letdown in the handling department but it does have the coveted K20R motor and is a bit more refined.

The car does absolutely nothing for me but I'd like to have one just because it's flies the "R" flag.

yes. i know someone who cracked one of his regas and the repair shop did a ghetto weld job that looks awful and can't be cleaned up.

so if it's actually +45 i need to know details asap please.

You have an itr? We should do a head count to see how many current itr owners are on Rs.

swfk 01-07-2016 03:37 PM

Jason is first in line lol my friend PM'd you yes.

white rocket 01-07-2016 04:13 PM

thumper is an ITR owner? Learn something new everyday.

+35 is baller offset while +45 is a bit more common. My S-dubs are +45. Curious on pricing considering the US market and current exchange rate.

i used to own a 1998. it was stolen/unrecovered. i posted it a few pages back :(

i'm trying to help my friend out. he's owned his 97 since new. he hit a pothole and cracked the lip, and the place that fixed it did this terrible weld job that just sticks out like a sore thumb. he's been trying to find either a single or a complete set but this is about as close as it gets because most of what is out there is +35.

SumAznGuy 01-07-2016 05:57 PM

Type R classifieds on FB has a dude selling a set, front and rear, 01 CDM red seats asking $4K USD.

Also, an 00 Black ITR with 38K Miles. Asking $25K USD in California.

That black one is nice!! To think, one with slightly lower mileage in equal condition sold for like $18k USD about 2 years ago when the dollar was par BrokeBack

Fitty Cent selling those pricey seats PogChamp

That is interesting to hear. I always thought the +45 was more common.

thumper 01-08-2016 05:40 AM

sadly no. whenever something comes up, it's usually part of a staggered set meant more for the s2000 i think?

Yes if they are a pair of 7 inch and a pair of 8 inch rims.

What size rims is your friend looking for?

jasonturbo 01-08-2016 09:44 AM

I'm actually kind of tempted to sell my ITR given the current market conditions and the fact that owning 3 cars is a pain in the ass lol... but I'm not yet sure how much I will like the NSX when it's finally all put together so...

Meh. I would want a fortune for my car, would still be a deal relative to the exchange rate hahahahaha

white rocket 01-08-2016 10:05 AM

Owning 3 vehicles sucks until you get rid of one. Then you have that empty feeling and start shopping once again. I did that twice.

Ditch the euro, buy a beater, watch your collection appreciate, win at life. But I'm guessing you'd lose your shirt on that Golf R.

Nahh Golf R typically hold value really well, could probably dump it for what I paid for it just so someone doesn't have to wait 6+ months to get one.

Mind you Alberta economy in shambles lol so maybe not.

Can't see the R, need one reasonable daily with some room, AWD, low risk of theft, decent MPG, monthly write off, etc.
