nah, the Integra will never be more powerful than the CTR. if they made an ITR then yes but Integra will always be a step below the CTR. |
Maybe have the slightly detuned Type-R motor they put in the Accord for a couple years? |
that motor is more than just detuned, internals were different iirc. But yea that would be likely for a "type-s" variant. |
https://jalopnik.com/heres-exactly-w...ivi-1820164645 - All the differences. I'd guess the Integra drivetrains will be a 1.5T/DCT or 6MT and a 2.0T/10AT (or 6MT) with the 2.0T being the RDX tune (272hp). I also don't see any way it'll be faster than the CTR - Type R is bigger than Type S. I'd guess the Type S trim will be competitive with the Golf R though since it'll be lighter. |

my guess will be the integra itself will slot between the Si Civic and CTR itself, power / numbers wise. |
Next generation Civic Type R up close, but still camo'd Initial impression, it doesn't look wild and bizarre any more. https://www.motor1.com/news/538196/2...-r-teaser/amp/ |
Yea it seems like it doesn't look as odd and trying as hard as before. But it still has that weird bumper Bump on the grill :heckno: |
Yes they will definitely tone down the styling. Looks good so far. I am wondering what types of performance enhancements there will be since I am a track rat. Quite a few FK8 owners trading / selling their cars with the inflated market so they will be prepared to get a deposit down on the new one. |
So is the new one a sedan? Cuz it doesn't look like a hatch anymore like the current one. Too bad STI doesn't have wagons anymore. As of right now I still think the golf r is the best looking one. I do like the A45 but that's stupid expensive:okay: |
It will be base on the Hatch version look at the Rear Trunk spoiler It is mount on the hatch |
|
Man just remake the Mugen RR and I'll buy it, I don't need all dem angles and vents on the new ones. |
|
much smoother aesthetics than the FK8 judging by the prototype. |
Somehow they seem to be moving from ugly but garish/daring.......... to just boring ugly |
I want to like it because they changed a lot of styling cues I didn't like, but replaced them with lack of styling cues which I also don't like lol. |
not what comes to mind when i think of a type R hatch but i like it big fake grilles gone, so are gundam extensions, absurd wang/wheels etc front fascia aside, it has a very euro-look only thing that bothers me is retention of a clamshell hood or the appearance of one, belongs on a truck million dollar question: overheating solved? |
Damn is that a kia stinger? (From the back) Sent from my SM-G781W using Tapatalk |
Every time I see the new civic front end I get reminded of this https://media-cdn.tripadvisor.com/me...sea-breeze.jpg But if it's close to those renders then I think Honda is doing a 03 to 06 Subaru. Throw random designs in until ppl likes it. Bug eye, blob eye, pig nose:drunk: |
Just saw this on YouTube, damn turbos makes cars sound so sad FeelsBadMan |

Friken Subaru man... you read the head line... The 2022 Subaru WRX Sportswagon Is the First WRX Wagon Since 2007 and then you see.... Its engine bay houses an identical 2.4-liter, turbocharged flat-four producing the same 271 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque according to Which Car but as you get excited you see.... There's no six-speed manual in the WRX Sportswagon, just that CVT masquerading as an eight-speed. WTF Subaru.... WTF..... and then they will kill the wagon and say... see we tried, there was no market for it. Our forester sells 30Xs more, people want CUV/SUVs ahhhh sigh.... source https://www.thedrive.com/news/42748/...gon-since-2007 https://www.motortrend.com/news/2022...hotos-details/ |
