The 2022 Subaru WRX Sportswagon Is the First WRX Wagon Since 2007
and then you see....
Its engine bay houses an identical 2.4-liter, turbocharged flat-four producing the same 271 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque according to Which Car
but as you get excited you see....
There's no six-speed manual in the WRX Sportswagon, just that CVT masquerading as an eight-speed.
WTF Subaru.... WTF..... and then they will kill the wagon and say... see we tried, there was no market for it. Our forester sells 30Xs more, people want CUV/SUVs
Aren't wagon variants just a sedan with a "backpack" strapped on the back?
usually the length are the same off the top of my head
I always assumed they were longer? All the German wagons, the Legacy, etc all look to be a lot longer than the Impreza ones. The Impreza wagon just always looks more like a slightly longer hatchback rather than a wagon, maybe that's just the weird 45* angle they always give the rear making it look smaller.

Interesting comments. The Ford Focus sedan and hatchback are the same wheelbase. The wagon (not North America obviously, fucking cunts) has a 4” longer wheelbase. I’ll import the euro wagon focus ST in a few years once it’s legal
Well I stand corrected, thanks guys. What defines something as a wagon and not a hatchback then?
I don't think length is really relevant, although they usually are correlated just by the nature of design.
Hatchbacks generally only have 3 pillars. Some times the C is very thick, or the C and D are very close that it's almost merged.
Spoiler!
pillar C and D are close
almost merged
pretty much just a pillar c
Wagons will clearly have a D pillar, giving it a distinctive boxy look, like it could support another row of seats in the trunk. That WRX wagon has a D pillar like the cars below.
Spoiler!

We have now entered a world where a $150K CAD Integra Type R with painted mud flaps exists. Barely considered a "classic" and a showroom piece is worth nearly 6x it's original MSRP. Truly impressive for a stripped down econobox.

Remember talking to a guy back in 2015 considering selling his 30,000km IT-R in the same color for $20k, but I was still in school and couldn't afford it
There is a member on here with a PY ITR, he was thinking of selling to the right person. I wanted it bad but at the time it wasn’t the right move for me. 26k was expensive back then but now it’s probably worth significantly more. Single tear….
$112k ITR to add to their stable of an $61k AP2 and a $50k EM1. Nostalgia is a helluva drug!
I like most of us probably kicked ourselves not picking up an ITR when it was under $15k. I seriously contemplated getting own hoping it would drop in price even further. Obviously that didn't happen lol. Now seeing EM1 going up on price I also kick myself for not picking up a mint Electron Blue I saw for 6500 roughly 8 years? Ago. Always wanted one. Now if 97 del sol Vtec ever starts going up in value I might as well literally kick myself selling mine for $3800 in 2013

Pretty sure your Del Sol VTEC can fetch more than $3800 now assuming its not a POS. Those Del Sol VTEC were quite rare.
