Saw this on another site: 1998 ACURA INTEGRA TYPE R | used cars & trucks | Edmonton | Kijiji
The mention of winter tires is a bit scary considering its location but it's a pretty good entry price if it checks out.

I checked Japan prices, JDM DC5 are probably $11k landed for one approximately 130k kms. Just a rough estimate on one example I came across though.
I think at that price I rather buy S1 S2's Type R swapped and be on the correct side of the car and not buying sight unseen.

I love the ITR, and it's a beautiful example, but at $22,500usd for purchase and buyer's fees, it will cost you over $38,000cdn including exchange, duty, RIV, and GST/PST. There are a lot of other cars at $40k taxes in that are tempting too...

He posted asking $25,000USD originally on FB. No surprise that it sold for north of $22,500USD. No one in Canada, except a collector, would be a player knowing the current exchange rate plus the standard import fees.
I mean, are any Canadians buying cars in the US now at all? What car would be worth the purchase I wonder.

Saw the FB post but that particular picture is over a decade old. I believe it was an H-T member from Austria. He was buying salvage ITR's and fixing them up. This chassis was not salvageable. He had a mean turbo ITR and walked on exotics at Nur on the reg.
