How bad is the rust?

TouringTeg 11-08-2016 12:57 PM

This must be the $40k one. The SR ITR had a JDM front

https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/rch/ctd/5840283760.html

There is always the recklinable rebuilt 99 ITR with 2,180,000 kms. $6400 I think I would rather have this one as a daily.

wonder why its been on the market for so long...

but the repairs on the passenger side front shock tower shown in the pic looks extremely sketchy.

Wasn't bad I believe it was just surface. It still had the black rubber pieces on the quarters so it was hard to see

I wish I had the space for it. $8,700 isn't a bad entry price for a project with a clean titled shell. I need a '97, '98, and an '01 to complete the collection.

Yea for sure, it comes with jdm recaros, spoon calipers and arc intake to lower the cost as well. He's also including stock wheels and exhaust as well.

Just bought a set of 15x6.5 +45 offset 1999 Infiniti I30 wheels for $70

These will let me switch from my 205/45/16 Prelude setup to 205/50/15 RE71R once the 16" tires are done.

Someone smart enough to realize there is not point in keeping the mileage down on a car you enjoy driving?

Mine has been my daily for 5 years.

The miles go up, it gets dirty, shit breaks... but imo, it's way more enjoyable to own a fun car that gets daily driven than to own a huge paperweight in the garage that only comes out in sunny weather and only gets driven from point A to point A.

to each their own. I cant see an ITR as a daily. Not saying you cant but I would want something more comfortable and quiet, and also don't need the added stress of wondering if the car would be there when you finish your errands.

It's a Honda. Don't even need to unlock it or leave the alarm off. :alone:

Are you sure they are EK9 seats?
Front seats look like USDM ITR seats.
Rears look like JDM ITR seats .

Don't CTR's come with Recaro's like the JDM ITR's.
Plus his ad says they fit the EG and DC2 chassis.
