That '01 went from $11K to $34.5K in a couple hours. I couldn't believe it. Not even a "mint" example either.

ITR Expo Forums: ebay find

That second one must have stories. Dealer has listed on ebay multiple times over the past year and dropped the price 2k USD They should buy some stock wheels for it.

tegra7 12-27-2016 09:13 AM

On the first one the rear headrests look Re upholstered

2001 Acura Integra type r for $9,000 in St-Frédéric | autoTRADER.ca

Ad states that price was reduced 6 weeks ago, so I'm guessing its still for sale.

Needs major de-ricing, still has the red cdm rear seats.

Iron Chef 01-02-2017 06:29 PM

If the chassis is clean I would grab it , chassis is probrably a rust bucket. Everything is reversible

Looks like a sunroof was installed...? :heckno: Let's hope it's stick on.

And at the end of the de-ricing, it will still be an ITR missing the vins on its front and rear bumpers, hood, and what looks to be front fenders too. So, collectible wise, of dubious value. I guess if someone wants it as a beater or track rat...

TouringTeg 01-11-2017 08:33 PM

Bidding war and the seller is loving it lol

white rocket 01-12-2017 07:54 AM

Yeah, the last few hours is when the real money comes in. Same with that PY one last month. Went from $15K to $34.5K in a few hours.

Nice to see another Canadian 2000 CW. They are rare as most are PY.

My Barn find itr - Honda-Tech

The car has an interesting history and there is a cool build thread. It is an ex solo race car, turned street, sold, then the guy who restored it bought it back from the guy he sold it to years later. Now he is selling it again. I imagine he saw what clean type R's are selling for and convinced the guy he sold it to, to sell it back cheap so he could flip it and make money. I think this because he just got it back.

Edit* Just read the auction to see he explains all of this lol. I saw the pics, ontario, and km and knew it was the car from the barn find build thread on Honda-tech.

In Canada there were more CW than PY for MY00 iirc

tegra7 01-12-2017 09:37 AM

Canada only got py in 2000

We did get some cw for 2000, but mostly PY

TouringTeg 01-12-2017 11:05 AM

Auction ends in 30 mins. I will guess it ends at 27k USD.

It hurts the value that it is in Canada however the low mileage is something that can't be replicated. It is very difficult to find one with low mileage, matching vins, and matching drive train. Just missing the original armrest / badge.

TouringTeg 01-12-2017 11:33 AM

I guessed high. 20k USD plus buyer's fee etc.

prudz 01-12-2017 11:52 AM

$26.2k Canadian, I don't think the seller is upset at all. TouringTeg, you were pretty close if converted to Canadian.
