I regret selling my cheap rebuilt status track/autoX slut.

One thing I did learn though. Once you go K, you never look back.
I would keep the GSR motor in that car and run it as is or sell the motor and drop in a K20 with a 6spd tranny.
Don't bother over paying for a JDM B18C5.

Very true. Most ITR owners that I knew in the beginning have now moved onto other chassis or got outta the game altogether. There are only a few of us OG's left and some that are just not active on forums anymore. The Vancouver ITR meet that E40-six put on for us was always a great time but alas, it ended about 5 years ago.

I went to ITR Expo 8 and 9 and met a shit ton of peeps from all over. It was really an eye opener showing me the different kinds of people that love this chassis. Most of them I would consider lifetime friends now.

Matt's website that e.lo! posted is definitely a nucleus for all things ITR including production number and market differences. A great resource for all.

<---lovin' the thread title change

acura integra type r

I emailed this guy.
He's owned the car for a year and has no idea how or why the car is rebuilt and has a GSR motor.
If we are lucky, it is a theft recovery where the thieves stole the motor and or interior when the car was newish.
Yes, I miss my ITR track slut that much.

For those oldies out there, anyone remember Ben Tang? I met him at the first ITR meet and he had hands down the best ITR at the time locally.

I'll see if I can dig up some pics. ps, 43ma.

Rupert was my ITR's garage mate for a year before he was sold off as a chassis FeelsBadMan.

I felt so rich back then having 2 ITR's in my garage

Ahhh, my very first meet. Norman's Type R(1st one) was out of this world back then. Crazy turbo, Built motor, Cusco cage, the whole nine. He still had it a few years ago but not sure now. He's owned sine new.

Dylan(2nd pic) got me into tracking. Loved the hacked up bumper for better airflow to the oil cooler. He was turbo as well. Sold it and moved onto an E36 M3.

Here's a few from the following year I believe.
