I'd love to know as well. Knew the car when it was around but never heard any stories other than people making "bought by parents" comments. Was the dude a clown or something? Rip people off?

That's what I thought. Probably 2012 when I last saw it. Oil leaking and traction issues so he only got one session in. He listed it way back in 2010 for $40k. Glad he's keeping it :thumbsup:

not me. Maybe Richard from G5. That's the general assumption. I asked the guys at G5 and they were like, "I don't know, maybe." Rich himself wasn't there for me to ask.

Yup Norman still has it. The turbo and some stuff has been changed since that meet in 2004. He had a GTR then sold it after a year or so.

Werd up , I'd consider myself a purist and the best way to experience them is close to stock, the way Honda designed it.

On another note, It pain me to see non R's running R running gear and parts. An authentic R is forever gone. There must be no more R's left in Japan, look at all the shops in the states selling r swaps and 5 lugs like Hmotors... Just brutal. I don't know of another car in history that's been canabalized so hard.

And another note , I do have a problem with fake R's or imitation R's with R badging. I feel it cheapens the brand , it's no different then girls rocking fake handbags.

Absolutely! My plan before the exchange took a dump was to import a legit LHD Milano Red ITR from Europe somewhere. US spec front end and left hand drive are a match made in heaven for a car not available in North America. There are plenty of countries that offered it and one guy on H-T from Macedonia that I've been bugging for like 3 years. Ha! But alas, our dollar is brutal and I'm not down for a $25K ITR that I will still need to tinker with.

Loi from Loispec is current building a Milano Red ITR from a PY shell. Pretty amazing work and attention to detail. I have no doubt that it will be top quality once completed. Perhaps e.lo! knows more than I as he is pretty tight with them.

Personally, I like the US spec front end more.

Give me a Champ White stock US Spec front end with a stock ITR lip and add a splitter.
Suspension, 15x8 wheels and sticky rubber and I will die happy.
I do like the wing that Tofu had on his car. That may be one of the only obvious mods I would want.
