Been following that one and the bidding has been slow. Maybe the action will be closer to the end of the auction? Really there is no point in bidding until the last few minutes.
It is over 100k miles (160kms) which is driver mileage like mine.

that NSX fixer-up was a good watch...glad that worked out
cheapest clean title NSX under 100 miles 30K USD...still not cheap for a purchase sight unseen...that's Dr. Mike status  | |

Hi Guys,
Just picked up a JDM 96specR.
Its burning a bit of oil on vtec (more than usual)otherwise runs great.
Its got high clicks on it and i plan to use it as daily and occasional track car.
Which oil you guys reccomend to reduce oil consumption? Most ppl seem to reccomend nothing more than a 5w40, but due to oil consumption i was thinking of syntec 5w50 or even Liquimoly 10w60.
Btw, the seller picked up a EP3 type R, so yes, there are a few EP3R locally.

what is the mileage? how much oil is it consuming? eg. 1L per xxxkm?
i don't know that much, but the last time i read someone trying to go to a higher weight on a tired vtec motor that was burning oil ended up with leakage from various seals...

It has 220k km on it.
Prev owner says about 1/2L per 1000 km with occasional vtec. I haven't driven it enough to verify.

Geez what we're these things brand new like $29k? I remember wanting a 01 CW ITR that was on the showroom floor but didn't want to dish out that much so settled on a 2000 GSR instead 😥

That red emblem on the steering wheel ??
Even in early 2016 when I bought mine I knew these cars were still under valued. I had witnessed first hand the crazy run up in air cooled Porsches and the extra money limited edition / low production cars commanded.
