https://www.roadandtrack.com/news/a4...ual-confirmed/ Simulated manual shifting, including a clutch. As many upshifts as you like, live the F&F dream. Reportedly even simulated stalling! :lol |

Actually maybe I wouldn't, BMW already tried to bring back The Hire short films with an EV and it was pretty dull, it really doesn't work. |
^Maybe my tastes are not classy enough, but what is the demographic for a Halloween-themed i7 / 7 series? |
Hans Zimmer did do the EV interior noises for BMW :lawl: |

I heard that the wait for a fully loaded model is really long, whereas if you want something less optioned, you won't have to wait as long. |
Probably a couple factors due to the wait list being shorter than expected. - Everyone who was remotely interested in an electric car placed multiple deposits hoping to get an allocation. - The new EVs are well north of 50k for a decent entry level trim. That a lot of interest to be paid - Adding on to rising interest rates, some people would rather focus on their mortgage - Increase in production |
Just got an email off saying the Lexus RZ has a $10,000 discount - $6k from Lexus Canada, and $4k from BC rebate (if you qualify). I took one out for a spin recently and was surprised how nice it is. The charging tech and range is behind the competition (150kW charging rate, 350km range), but these factors are less of a problem for the average Lexus buyer in the lower mainland that don't drive long distances. The rest of the car is built well, quiet, comfortable and well dampened. It's a lovely everyday city car for the average Lexus owner in the Lower Mainland shuttling kids and travelling shorter distances. |

Holy shit. Not bad ! I rather like this futuristic sound. |
$10000 off what? Lol off $100000 is still $90 and isn't there a luxury tax? Didn't rx350 used to be like $50k |

I've gone Plaid! :fuckthatshit: Just picked my Model X Plaid up and had to rush to pick up the kiddos as ICBC's system was down all morning and instead of the expected 20-minute in-n-out pickup with time to spare for groceries, errands and then pick up the kids, it turned into a 2hr+ wait just for ICBC's system to come back online. Damn this thing pushes hard. I thought the Model S LR loaner I got pushed hard already. But this is something else. It's not much different than being in a roller coaster when one floors it. |
