These are all things Tesla blows at but Porsche/Ford/BMW/Hyundai/GM have sorted: - the motor noise changing when you're at speed so you know to let off the gas - consistent warnings and behaviour for autodrive - steering that tells you something about the road - chassis with reasonable damping and feedback - not forcing heavy regen braking (which isn't even efficient) For the gas car crowd, a Mach E GT or Rally, Ioniq 5 N, Taycan, or i4 would scratch the itch under 40k used. Ford/BMW/Porsche have very reasonable app, charging integration, etc. |
^^ where are these under $40k taycan?? |
More important, the $40K used Ioniq 5 N Because I will legit buy one, not because I work for Hyundai, I actually really like the car. The only reason it is not in my driveway = - i buried myself in the model 3 (no way I am getting out ...ever llololol) - i dont make enough money to be able to drop $95K on a car... doesnt matter which car hahahaha |

tbh this is my pick https://www.autotempest.com/results?...ntry&drive=awd ~45k USD you can Taycan 4S but tbh I'd rather recommend Lucid Air GT: Lucid has 800+ real world range, great charging, S class interior & E39 feeling to chassis and inputs. Taycan has best charging, cheap interior, 450km real range (srsly, this shit is way worse than a Malibu; makes a Charger look like S class) https://www.autotempest.com/results?...ntry&drive=awd https://www.autotempest.com/results?...ntry&drive=awd ~55k USD for Ioniq 5N: They fixed the snap oversteer, sloppy inputs, and low range in the EV6 GT. https://www.autotempest.com/results?...ntry&drive=awd I do not recommend the Model 3 Performance, ZDX Type S, or Plaid. Once you put something wider than 235 (Civic SI width and OE Tesla) like 265 PS4S on the Model 3 Perf, you get only 300km range. Charges less than half as fast as Taycan and Ioniq, like 45 minutes 10-90. |
Lucid Air GT just popped up on my feed - $115k CAD https://www.facebook.com/share/1At3Y2fzws/ Sent from my SM-G781W using Tapatalk |

More practically... Porsche, Ford, GM, Tesla will transfer warranty; go forth and get your 35k CAD Mach E GT or 45k Taycan/Plaid. |
