Haven't been following the EV rebate saga lately. Why is the federal EV rebate going away? Bcos it ran out of $$$? Parliament got prorogued, so it can't approve new legislation for rebate funding renewal? Something else?

I'm guessing this is caused by our weak loonie, right?

Seems a bit odd to me that Tesla would rather intentionally make the car ineligible for the rebate when their growth is finally slowing down. With the Juniper coming soon, shouldn't they be doing everything they can to clear out the old models?
