Cameras. Not sure about France, but GB logs all the major routes (for terrorism) plus they get alerts if the same plate is seen in two places etc. or if a car is stolen etc. Also useful for charging congestion tax (no idea if it's the same network, but same tech). |
Nissan Tesla merge rumors. https://electrek.co/2025/02/21/nissa...-fell-through/ |
I doubt it, what can Tesla benefit with Nissan. I think the fox con is more realistic |
They want the factories. |

Whao... and we cant sell them LOL |
https://cdn.motor1.com/images/mgl/L3...andervell.webp After being unveiled in 2023, the Vanwall Vandervell is finally ready to hit the road. From January 2025, this electric hot hatch will be available to order at a 'base' price of €128,000 (approx. £107,000) excluding VAT. If the brand name reminds you of anything, you're not wrong, as it shares its name with a historic Formula 1 racing team. But beware, the references to a bygone era end there: underneath the new compact car's retro guise lies an ultra-modern technical base, the same as that of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N. Yes, that's right, the Korean 'super hot hatch' that has driven enthusiasts around the world crazy. https://www.motor1.com/news/749299/v...ll-2025-price/ https://vanwallvandervell.com/ The person behind it. Colin Kolles (born Călin Colesnic;[1] born 13 December 1967 in Timișoara)[1] is a Romanian-German former team principal and managing director of the Hispania Racing F1 Team, previously holding a similar position at the team known under the names Jordan, Midland, Spyker and Force India from 2005 to 2008. He was an advisor to Caterham F1 and had a part in the unsuccessful Forza Rossa Racing project. |

People who have $80000 to spend on a car doesn't want a Hyundai |
^ not necessarily true probably few months back i was at KIA and saw a GLS on the lot, i asked the sales guy and he said someone traded it in for a EV9. |
People with money wouldn’t touch Mercedes nowadays. Look at that EQE EQS line. They couldn’t give those away. Their only viable products are the maybach line of sedans / suv and the G wagon. The rest is very very lame. Especially with the 4 cylinder AMG products. |
The new AMG S class is pretty impressive... 791hp and over 1,000lb/ft of tq, what monster! |

They could've even sold this thing as an ICE or hybrid vehicle. |
I think VW will release lower level trims of the Buzz after this first model year. |
^^ that's what they said about model 3 cyber trucks, but they still haven't. I doubt VW can make it any cheaper, dem German Union women ain't cheap. They will just end up losing more money per car. Is the eq e or s that bad? I've been noticing more ix. At least it's not as ugly. |
If they made this dumb ass ID Buzz in gasoline engine they would have had a VW resurgence on their hands and demand would have skyrocketed. I would have bought one and most likely every other boomer in north america. They could have charged the same amount of money but now it would been a useful road trip vehicle, i.e. what the original VW Bus was made for. |
This is true, though I don't think the interior or packaging of it could be achieved in its current state with an ICE drivetrain and all the gas tank/plumbing/transmission space required. |
Also then the floor wouldn't be so weirdly high because they wouldn't need to package the battery down there. Or keep the floor that high, but gain a lot more ground clearance. Sell an offroad version to make money off the overlanders. |

borrow a flat 4 from Porsche, plumb it so it's as flat as can be. |
the car is huge, the engine bay is huge. its all empty space. They could have easily slipped in the VW workhorse ea888 and just turned up the boost a bit to compensate but nooooo... they purposely have to make it a lame EV. |
New IDBuzz is useless. Save your money and buy a nice condition 2000 VW Eurovan camper. With $100K to spend there are much better options. |
