Remember guys, these are stock cars so they have to follow decibel laws. My ST was super quiet from factory. Also not sure if there's a comfort/sport/track modes, they might have just been chill driving with exhaust in quiet mode

It's gonna be my DD. For me, that's the whole point of a hot hatch! Fun to drive, decently quick, good gas mileage, comfortable, and be practical enough as a DD.
I think the next batch is September man, followed by December. Did your dealership already get 3 CTRs in for July? I think most dealers only get 1 to 2 cars each time. Quote:

I want to hear one on hard acceleration or high RPM before judging it too hard, but it felt a little weird seeing a car with such a loud "look at me exterior" having such a quiet exhaust.
It looked like a nice car but I still have a soft spot for the DC2 ITR | Quote:

Not sure what the rules are but I'd imagine Honda can easily turn it up a few notches and it will still be well within any decibel laws IMO. I think this issue was brought up by many reviewers already. The good thing is that it keeps the wife happy...lol.
There are different modes - Comfort, Sport, +R, but based on my experience, I don't think they change the sound much. I think those modes are strictly for the steering, dampers, and throttle calibration/response.

| I am on Vancouver Island.. there is only 1 dealer from a 100km radius.
i think this is why they are getting more than 3.
Duncan Honda wanted a non-refundable 10k deposit.. so i didnt deal with them.

They used to be great to deal with. Now they're basically just another dealership (not worse than the others around Duncan, but they used to be head and shoulders better than every other one).

I think what he meant is that the finance and leasing rates are not the same as regular Civic. IIRC, the finance rate is 4.24% for 60 months, and lease is 4.99% for 48 months. Regular Civic more like 0.99 or 1.99%?

sum of parts will always be costlier than the wholesome unit itself...and they stated it was only cosmetic too
Type R conversions are a gigantic waste of resources if you ask me.
