I’m planning to pick up those same wheels in 19” for my RS one day. Clean look, good price and pretty damn light.

Nice plate by the way

Had no deposit on waitlist, no plans to get one. Fortunately I got one at MSRP with no wait.

oldsnail 11-28-2017 10:27 PM

Any one have a rattling sound from the dash? Seems to occur during acceleration .....really annoying . I will call Honda .. I have about 25 kms now.

320icar 11-29-2017 01:13 AM

So swfk, those photos look like Richmond centre. You a Richmond boy? Once I get my black shoes back on the white RS, we gotta get some photos. Still haven’t seen the new CTR in person

tegra7 11-29-2017 01:45 AM

Saw a CW parked at MR Lube on King George blvd near 68 ave, anyone from here?

oldsnail 11-29-2017 08:52 AM

Maybe we should start an RS CTR roll count

They were only selling to locals in Kelowna. Few people called before me and got rejected for not being local. But I noticed that on the day I called, they had released the 2018 FK8 on the website. Also on the same day Kelowna had a snow dump and Coquihalla was closed. It was either they take my deposit right over the phone or they'll sit on their 2017 car until next year.

Some called after me and got told it was sold. Right call at the right time I suppose.

I frequent Richmond, live in South East Van. There's a few around. Would love a ride in a RS!

tegra7 11-30-2017 12:45 AM

Did you guys pay msrp?

320icar 11-30-2017 01:48 AM

I paid msrp for my RS. Swfk said he paid msrp as well. That’s pretty much the best outcome for wanted cars like this

unless Dealership is re-sell it as USED (grey area)
They are force to sell at MSRP to public in Canada.

I read somewhere they have agreement with Honda or the Government...
not sure.

I got it at MSRP.

there is one @carter.. (not sure if it is still there )
wanted over 70k..

because when i called.. they said someone offered 70k and they said no.. dunno their asking price because it seemed they didnt really want to help me on the phone

nsx042003 11-30-2017 04:25 PM

^ that's so stupid. they are dumb to not sell @ 70K. Probably an idiot GM that thinks his civic is worth 200K lol

oldsnail 12-01-2017 07:17 AM

I am going to take my CTR in the dealer. the BUZZ / RATTLE is driving me nuts.

only on acceleration and when in gear.
