The only reason it turned out like that was because Honda was being stupid themselves. Instead of offering the car only with the L-series+IMA hybrid engine, had they sold it with any of the K20A2, Z1 or Z3 -- all of which have been federalized for sale in N.America and fits in the engine bay, I'm sure the car would have sold a lot better. Even if they had only sold the car with a regular flavoured K20, I'm sure the CRZ would have sold better than it did.

The Honda-era under President/CEO Takanobu Ito from 2009 - 2015 is the most poorly run years in Honda's history.
