Tried to get this old beast running last night. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...ps6dy85mr1.jpg Finally figured out it has an old Chevy 302 transplanted into it at some point. Hand cranked it and everything felt smooth, so we swapped out a bunch of different parts (plugs, wires, fuel filter, cleaned the carb, etc) but still failed to obtain good spark to the engine. We're getting spark, but it seems like the disty cap isnt sitting properly so we're not getting proper sequential sparking. Got too damn cold to work on it anymore last night and probably wont get a chance for another few weeks. Amazing what previous land owners leave behind in the woods when they sell property. |
