i'd be hesitant taking an e36/e46 out in this weather if your subframe mounts aren't reinforced. Cold weather + pressure against those mounting points = ?????

The subframe is stressed when you apply hard acceleration when grip is plentiful. The driveshaft rotates and twists the LSD which transfers energy into the wheels and rear axel carrier panel. When there is little traction, little stress should be placed on the subframe mounts. Just make sure your bushings are healthy so they can evenly take the pressure.

I've ordered a fix from Sweden which'll put a steel bar under the trunk panel and directly connected to the subframe which'll evenly distribute energy throughout instead of just the mounting points. Laser cutting and welding to create the final product is happening now. [emoji1417][emoji1417]

Love it.

I was looking at a couple white M5s on BJBMWs website a few days ago it looks like M5s are holding their values pretty good.

Someone on my block has the stunning launch edition M6GC, it's beyond gorgeous. Not many BMWs are "rare" nowadays but I would consider the M6GC pretty rare.

After salting and removing ice in my alley for the past two days LoV offered to delivery my car on a flatbed. Thank god I cleared enough snow/ice so the flatbed could get in my alley and I could get my car in the garage. So glad she's finally home!

E36 m3 had reinforced subframe from the factory. Just another reason to e36. Subframe issues aren't a thing with these cars unless they are seriously getting hammered on track with major power and grip boosts.

Hmmm I'm toying around with the idea of getting a beater e36 specifically for such purposes :awwyeah:

Get a nice one. Its half the price to buy a nice one than it is to maintain a shit one.

I sell BMWs......

there were only a few 6MT's available in north america...... so the "why not 6MT" question is irrelevant lol

Would love to have a 6MT, but for the speed this thing generates, I think its better off with the DCT :awwyeah:

Get gas in High Level and then again in Fort Providence.

The roads are super slick up here as a heads up. Coming for work?

Out of curiosity, what is the price difference between the 580-2 Huracan and a fully loaded R8 V10Plus?
