An Algerian man who almost killed his 25-year-old student victim shouted out ‘if Allah wills it’ in Arabic as he raped her in a darkened alley, a court has heard.

The man, identified only by his first name Rheda, is accused of following the student as she walked home from a nightclub at 5am in Hannover, Germany.

Afterwards, with his victim badly beaten, he is alleged to have climbed off her and asked her if she enjoyed it.

This week we got another example of officials effectively blaming the victim, this time in Denmark where a teenager who used pepper spray on an assailant will be fined for deploying an illegal substance.

The alleged attack occurred “near an asylum center” and according to the girl, was perpetrated by an “dark-skinned English speaking man who knocked her down and tried to undress her.”

“She was later warned by police that the pepper spray she used on him was illegal for private citizens to possess, and that she would face a £50 fine,” The Telegraph writes.

“It is illegal to possess and use pepper spray, so she will likely to be charged for that,” a police spokesperson said.

"Numerous readers wrote in the comments section on TV Syd’s story about the incident that they would be willing to pay the girl’s fine," The Local says. "The man who attacked the 17-year-old fled from the scene and has not been charged."

According to the Copenhagen Post, more Danes are traveling to Germany to buy pepper spray than ever before.

“Sales have really exploded after the New Year and the attacks in Cologne,” an owner of a weapons store in the border town of Flensborg, said. “In January, we’ve had 50-60 percent more Danish customers than usual.”

You'll recall that pepper spray sales are off the charts in Germany since the attacks in Cologne on New Year's Eve as are Google searches for the weapon.

But don't be fooled says Anders Rasmussen, a prevention specialist at the Danish Crime Prevention Council, pepper spray may be used as a defensive weapon in some cases, but if legalized in Denmark, people will "quickly" start a non-lethal arms race with one another.

"Pepper sprays give a false sense of safety," Rasmussen told The Post. "They can also be used as an offensive weapon, which may quickly develop into a sort of armed competition between civilians."

Yes, "a sort of armed competition between civilians" who would presumably try to stockpile mace in a dangerous game of pepper spray one-upmanship. One commenter - a Frank Silbermann - is incredulous:

Video out of France shows a group of migrant women beat a 16-yr-old girl they labeled as a "slut" for wearing a dress.

As the victim reportedly did not know the assailants, the attack appears to have been a random act of violence.

Fortunately, a man was able to pull away the most vicious assailant, a woman described as a "real giant," before she was able to murder her victim.

A 16-year-old girl was beaten up, on Monday, because of her clothes to Gennevilliers, in the Hauts-de-Seine.

It is 7 pm, on Monday, and Nadia* waits for the tram in front of the district of Lute. A small group of teenagers approaches her.

A few minutes later, three girls more or less of the same age as Nadia arrive then. In their turn, they speak to her about her skirt. The tone is clearly less cordial. Four young women rise in the tram which arrives. The trio continues to be obsessed with the skirt. The situation becomes inflamed. The leader makes her victim fall by pulling her by hair in the stop following, in the district of the Village, the thugs accuse Nadia to be a "slut" and begin to strike her.


Nadia wipes then an avalanche of punches and feet. The most irritated of the aggressors, real giant, strike her a last blow of knee which puts her KO. She collapses on the ground. In the shouts and the confusion, passers-by intervene and scare off the group of violent girls. Firemen evacuate Nadia to the hospital. It is there that she resumes consciousness after a few hours of coma.

While she has dinner in a fast food a little later in the evening, the one who struck the blows, 19-year-old, learns that her victim is in a bad state. With one of the two other girls, she surrenders then to the local police station where she is placed under police custody. She must be brought on Wednesday up for immediate trial but the audience was sent back on next May 17th.

According to the first elements of the investigation, the aggression would have no religious bottom. The trio did not wear distinguishing feature and none evoked any religion. It is not either about a settling of scores: Nadia did not know them and does not live in the same district.

Austria caught up in midst of string of 'asylum seeker sex attacks' amid rise of far-right | World | News | Daily Express
The crimewave is seeing a sharp rise in the far-right in Austria in protest of mass immigration.

In the latest shocking incident a 27-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted while waiting at a bus station in the village of Grinzing on the outskirts of the capital Vienna.

She said: "He was Arabic looking and had a cord around his waist instead of a belt.

“All he could say was ‘sex, sex, sex’ and then he pulled out a condom from his trouser pocket.”


The attack comes just days after Norbert Hofer, candidate of the anti-migrant Freedom Party (FPO), took pole position in the presidential elections.

The results were a strong sign of the discontent surrounding the escalating migrant crisis, paving the way for the disruption of the two-party government system, which has ruled the country since 1945.

The woman said as she tried to run away the attacker chased after her with his trousers down and she only managed to escape when she reached a police station.

In a second incident a 19-year-old girl was followed into a toilet where she was assaulted by a man who she described as a "foreigner".

Vienna's Deputy Mayor from the FPO said: "It cannot go on like this and there needs to be an immediate stop to allowing refugees into the country, and extradition of anybody involved in crime.

“The security of people in Austria has to have priority."

On Monday, a 17-year-old asylum seeker from Afghanistan allegedly dragged a 20-year-old Austrian student off the streets in Styria in broad daylight and tried to force her onto the ground to have sex with her.

The young man who was a regular at a local fitness studio and described as extremely strong had apparently followed the young woman as she walked home.

The young woman’s chilling screams alerted passers-by, who chased the teenager away.

The attacker was later arrested and after being questioned was released on bail.

It has also emerged there was an alleged brutal sex attack in the Prater funfair in the centre of Vienna, where a 21-year-old student was attacked by three asylum seekers aged between 16 and 17.

According to police they followed the woman into a toilet, where one of them pinned her down while the other two raped and beat her.

After the victim raised the alarm, 100 police officers were drafted in and the trio were arrested.

Meanwhile, a group of North African asylum seekers have been accused of sexually assaulting a young woman in the middle of a busy train station in Salzburg on Friday.

When an Austrian stepped in to help, they reportedly beat him up.

And in another shocking incident, Austrian police arrested an asylum seeker from Afghanistan who allegedly pounced on a teenage girl on the train.

The 19-year-old girl was travelling between Wels and Grieskirchen when the refugee, who claims to be 17, sat down next to her and tried to speak to her.

But within minutes, he had allegedly moved to trying to kiss her, causing her to scream for help.

The screams were believed to be so loud that they alerted the train driver, who intervened to stop the attack and raised the alarm with police.

The migrant crisis has divided the country and, in a major U-turn, the government, who initially backed German chancellor Angela Merkel’s open-door policy, shut Austria’s borders.

Hofer, who has run an anti-immigrant and anti-Europe campaign will now go head-to-head with environmentalist and pro-refugee Alexander van der Bellen on May 22 for the president post, which is largely a ceremonial role.
