rev limiter delete

are there any good shops in vancouver/richmond than can do a rpm rev limiter delete?
it really sucks driving a c63 amg with a rev limit at 4000rpm...

Sneaky 01-10-2016 04:56 PM

Why is your rev limit at 4000rpm?

Presto 01-10-2016 04:57 PM

remove the rock under your gas pedal

Dragon-88 01-10-2016 04:58 PM

Is your car brand new?

boostfever 01-10-2016 04:59 PM

there's probably something wrong with the car. Stock C63 AMG doesn't come with rev limiter at 4K, more like 8K.

edit: is this in Neutral? or while driving?

So which one is it?

Why do you need to go past 4k in P or N?

kross9 01-10-2016 05:11 PM

So you want a rev limited delete so you can hard park and rev while trying impressing people trying to two step at a car meet... Carry on then

StylinRed 01-10-2016 05:13 PM

the limits only for Neutral and Park... carry on :P

So you can Rev engine at stop lights, how else do you intimidate others or challenge then to street race?

jinxcrusader 01-10-2016 05:20 PM

AMG jai

You can't do that. You may drive an expensive car but you have to do what all of us do when we want to rev our engine past 4k RPM.
Put your car in D/Drive and put your left foot on the brake and right foot on the throttle pedal.

Here you go...

But be safe...
Found the way to bypass 4000 rpm limiter - MBWorld.org Forums

Just curious, why would you rev over 4000 rpm ?

Retrac 01-10-2016 05:44 PM

Jack up the rear of the car and rev away :troll:

Galactic_Phantom 01-10-2016 05:45 PM

Oh, so in other words you just wanna be annoying :rukidding:

jinxcrusader 01-10-2016 05:46 PM

Doesn't the AMG have a S or an S+ gear? Put it on that and then hold the brake first and then slam on the throttle. Those meet up jai's will LOVE the sound of your sick car man

kkttsang 01-10-2016 05:48 PM

It's to protect the transmission and internals, in case you accidentally put it in neutral.

If u want lol. Handbrake, rev, release handbrake, turn wheel, drop to reverse.

People will lol......at you not with you.

swfk 01-10-2016 06:17 PM

I think getting a tune will delete the rev limiter in P

Please don't. You'll hurt the feelings of the Mustang guys, and MPEROR.

But seriously, don't.

GabAlmighty 01-10-2016 08:32 PM

Solid thread. Good answers. I suggest going to a full standalone fuel/spark management system. Only way to really get past the 4k rev limit.

The_AK 01-10-2016 08:36 PM

For a sec I thought maybe OPs car was in limp mode. Now I see OP is simply a fuckass.
