there's probably something wrong with the car. Stock C63 AMG doesn't come with rev limiter at 4K, more like 8K.

edit: is this in Neutral? or while driving?

So which one is it?

Why do you need to go past 4k in P or N?

AMG jai

You can't do that. You may drive an expensive car but you have to do what all of us do when we want to rev our engine past 4k RPM.
Put your car in D/Drive and put your left foot on the brake and right foot on the throttle pedal.

Found the way to bypass 4000 rpm limiter - MBWorld.org Forums

Doesn't the AMG have a S or an S+ gear? Put it on that and then hold the brake first and then slam on the throttle. Those meet up jai's will LOVE the sound of your sick car man

It's to protect the transmission and internals, in case you accidentally put it in neutral.

If u want lol. Handbrake, rev, release handbrake, turn wheel, drop to reverse.

People will lol......at you not with you.

Please don't. You'll hurt the feelings of the Mustang guys, and MPEROR.

But seriously, don't.

Solid thread. Good answers. I suggest going to a full standalone fuel/spark management system. Only way to really get past the 4k rev limit.
