there was a white my18 for low 70s like earlier this year? i think the sg ownership video series he recommends 19+ for better suspension and shift logic |
They’ve fucked with the suspension tuning and gear change programming for every single year the cars been out. Making it softer and softer as the original was quite a bit too stiff for the old men who buys this sort of thing. Similarly smoothing out the gear change and shifting logic. I’ve driven a 2018 and it’s not even that bad. Depending on how you like your cars, you might even prefer that one as it’s tighter than the new ones. |
join me my brothers!!!!! get one so i wont be the only fucker driving around in a ratrolla below 65 years old. FeelsBadMan or a fucking fob that doesnt speak any god damn engrish. |
Not everyone has that fob China money FeelsBadMan |
Such a niche car to buy, it could be a daily or weekend car. But if it's a daily, I'm leaning towards a performance model 3/y or even p100d model s |

Buys Tesla Stomps on "Go" pedal "Look I can go insanely fast!" Repeats 10x Something feels vaguely empty in life Starts having reminiscing moments of things like steering feel... engine noise... Joy dissipates Frown lines form Hunch in back becomes more noticeable Soul leaves body Death |
im pretty certain this will be a future classic given all the signs 1) Pretty rare. They've only sold like less than 40,000 vehicles globally since 2018 2) Expensive when new, thus adding to the rarity 3) Last NA V8 along with the IS500 and the soon to be dead RC-F (GSF already died). This really is the swan song for the toyota V8 4) Concept car styling 5) Decent enough performance The MK4 Supra had all these hallmarks so it'll likely appreciate as well. Considering majority of the people are going some sort of a EV/hybrid bullshit, this is the last of the breed. I dont think you would lose much if anything if you bought one and kept it. Maintenance is nothing, insurance is cheap (mines only $2000 a year with 5 million, 300/300 and max discounts). |
There would be a LC in our garage if we didn't have kids. But that spot is taken by a SUV right now. |
I'd have an LC if i wasn't economically challenged. |

https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/n...d-rc-f-retired So LC / RCF are all dead in Europe and the UK. Soon this disease will come to North America and then GG... no re |
Lexus historically did not do well in Europe. Europe and UK especially get really spotty coverage for Japanese cars for some reason despite UK being RHD just like Japan. A lot of Japanese brands in UK seem to not have a corporate presence and are imported and sold by private companies, this also means they choose which models to import and the interesting doesn't get brought in. |
Some geezer on ClubLexus posted this one. pretty interesting to see how much of my ratrolla is hand-assembled and how efficient those teams are. scary efficient. no way you'd get my ass to work like that. I love watching these factory tours. i watched the one for the MK8 Golf too. Dem germans are not as motivated it seems as much of the assembly is automated. |
This is how Porsche manufactures their cars https://shipsandports.com.ng/wp-cont...rsche-cars.jpg |
Oh, you meant assembly line manufacturing. My bad. :inout: |
All those beetles going into the drink just made my day |
