after the fees we got it for 25.8...so not sure where you're getting those rates...that's like market rate

USD in bangkok is in the 34.4 range....canadian was about the same as ATM's....but since we've been gone so long cash just isn't an option obviously

looked again last night...canadian cash is 25.9

100/50 USD is 34.8, 10/20 is 34.4

I ended buying a tiny bit here and then buying the rest at the airport and at exchange places. They are every where, in malls, BTS stations, streets and all legit.

I don't recommend using ATM as I'm with Coast Capital and I get charged 200 BAHT from the ATM and then 2% off the amount I'm withdrawing.

One last piece of advice: If you have any left over BAHT, bring it back to Canada to sell (at a place like VBCE). You get a better rate.

When I was there, Super Rich had the best exchange rates, but it's like 0.4 BAHT better than other places like Siam Commercial or TMB etc. It makes a difference if you're exchanging a large amount.
