Does TSS do a novice friendly lapping day at any time in the year? I'd like to track my RS next year but I have no track experience. Kind of intimidating.

all events have a dedicated Group B for low intermediates / first timers
at the time of registration just inform me you are a first timer and i will arrange an instructor for you at the track day
many first timers can attest to the friendly environment that our track days provide
do most people drive down, do the track day and drive back or stay a day or two?
Also, what's the helmet requirement for group B? I have a Snell M2005 is that ok or do I need to get a newer or SA helmet?
most people make it a 2 day trip
they stay at Little Creek Hotel - if you sign up online use coupon code RIDGE or if you call in - just mention you are attending the ridge motorsport park for a discount
Snell M2005 expires later this year - Snell expires every 12 years so you will need a Snell 2010 at the minimum for the 2018 season

3 bikes have signed up atm - bikes will be refunded if bikes does not happen
however the rider can decide to drive rather than ride if this happens

I usually try to make it a 3 day trip... Drive down the day before and drive back the day after. Definitely doable to make it a 2 day trip and I've done it a couple of times but it's extremely tiring for me
