Vivo Xplay 5 / 5 Elite

Never heard of vivo but sure does look interesting! Another alternative to popular flagships.

impressive specs
I wouldn't pay $900 for a lesser-known Chinese phone though

Szeto 03-01-2016 11:36 AM

The spec is amazing but as mentioned, i have never heard of vivo. I wonder how the camera stacks up to Galaxy S7 and Mi5. The the 4-axis that Mi5 has seems promising.

Mr.HappySilp 03-01-2016 12:04 PM

Is actually really popular in China. Although I don't have much experience but I do see ppl using it.

ae101 03-01-2016 03:52 PM

vivo is ok, my friend has one

vivo problem is marketing, which is why u never heard of them and also why its not really popular in China

there are also companies like zoppo, gionee and so on but ppl dont tend to notice them due the marketing

Gululu 03-01-2016 07:22 PM

Vivo and OPPO are both owned by BBK Electronics. They are well established electronics makers and not to be confused with no name brands.

vivo phones emphasizes hifi and multimedia experience, whereas oppo claims to have best camera. OPPO is registered in USA, Vivo isn't, but both are targeting internationally due to expansion
