Yes, Snap Toggles are amazing! I use them for everything from shelves with 200 lbs of stuff on them to my 75" flat screen.

However I wouldn't use them on an extendable TV mount.

On a regular hanging mount, no problem since the shear strength on a single 1/2" toggle is something ridiculous like 400 lbs
