I'll give discounts to riders, and larger discounts for riders that support the RS community. The parking lot is massive so they'll be tonnes of room. Just a get together to look at bikes, bullshit, and drink bbt.

This is not an 'official RS meet' but like with any get togethers, no douchbaggery. Id prefer to keep it for bikes only so it doesn't get out of hand.

If there is any interest I can plan further.

will we actually get service? the last few times ive gone ive left empty handed. the lineup is either out the door which (once you order) is about 20 minute wait, sometimes more if you get bubble waffle. on the last two occasions my girlfriend and i have been refused service because it was 9:33 (yes, both times) and your last call is 9:30. not including the 2 other couples behind us who also had to leave.

sorry for my rant. but the WORST reason to be losing customers is because you're too busy.

but if i get a discount, yeah sure i'll come to the bike meets

edit

1. Kr4l (Karl)
2. 320icar (ian) off work usually @9pm

kr4l 04-13-2016 09:38 PM

@320icar - that's stupid and will never happen again. You can have something on me at the first meet

Hi k4rl,

I am assuming you are the owner / part owner?

I love the place and congratulations on such a successful business + new location downtown!

This is a great idea indeed and once being labeled as a place where motorcyclist can go and chill and grab a drink, I am sure even when not in a big group, people would be interested on going!

One advice I would like to give is that you guys close too damn early! (I am not sure if its a strata / business license thing) but if you guys were opened a bit later I'd be there more often! but thats just me :)

But as a fellow rider, I like this idea! Considering I ride out to Byrne with some friends quite often anyways just to grab shitty timmy coffee :)

Thanks Karl for setting this up and your hospitality.

My fiancé is he owner, I'm just the slave really.

Also, thank you for the advice. The best thing people can do is criticize my business and tell me what they did not like or what I can do better.. It's the only way I can improve how the business runs and the quality of the products I serve. Without people telling me, I'd never know whatto improve. If your drink ever tasted like shit, I'd like to hear it so I can kick my staffs ass.

Starting May 1, we are actually going to open until 11pm on the weekdays. During summer, I'm also looking into opening until midnight

The last time I saw you like a year ago, I said I was going to do something like this for the shop. Haha it's great how things came along. I hope you can make it out to the meets and have something on me

Thanks man, really appreciate that you take the time to read and listen to my suggestions. It really does mean a lot... As I am dealing with another business owner who is blinded and can't / won't take criticism (Bayside Performance) He is probably one of the biggest most ignorant loser I have ever met in my life.

As a small business owner myself, I understand that everyone makes mistakes and owns up to it, but some people just don't understand.

Get this planned! I will be there to support your Fiancé's business, and I will try and get my riding buddies to come out too :)

What's going on, if you don't mind me asking?

I've been going to Kevin for many, many years and I know a lot of people have polar opposite relations with him from one another.

Hey Karl, are you allowed to set up tables outside in the summer time? There's the grass space being wasted right there! Picnic tables for more eat-in options would be sweet. Of course weather permitting lol

I doubt it. It's a common area where everyone pays the 'fee' to have it cleaned up but I'm the only one using it. I already have 3 patio tables set up when I technically wasn't suppose to. I'm sure we can throw some beach towels on the grass and it should be ok though

I can make things happen..

!e.lo_ 04-15-2016 03:52 PM

Karl, your employees aren't notified of the RS discount =P
One of the girls did just take my word for it, but I assume because I mentioned you and your fiance by name.

Thanks. Just mentioned it to the kids against probably one of my many new staff.

So my iPhone says it's going to be raining Thursday, but Tuesday its sunny and 21 degrees. We can change it to Tuesday April 19 @ 8:00 pm

Also, I'd like to provide free bubble tea to the regulars that visit this section of the forum, up to a certain amount of course for the meet. If we can do a tally of who's in, I can set something up. All I ask is you drop a loonie/toonie into the tip jar For my staff :)
